  1. For those still living in the Middle ages : 4.250 kilos is 9.370 lbs. 4.505 kilos is 9.932 lbs. 4.690 kilos is 10.340 lbs. Welcome to modern days, where since 1999 the royal measures are supposed to be part of the past... Yek yek. 😁
  2. @dmccombe7 As mentioned elsewhere, my 450 B is 4.505 kilos, my DMZ 6000 B is 4.690 kilos and my The Duke Deluxe Trans Red is 3.665 kilos. Finally not that heavy for such infinite sustain basses. So a good guess for a DMZ 4000 would be around 4.250 kilos (no Bad*ss, only one pickup, less pots, no backplate, that would be 400 to 500 grams less than say my DMZ 6000 B).
  3. Used to be mine. Note that every single metal piece is golden, including the pickups pole pieces... That's a really rare model. GLWYS.
  4. Indeed, Paul Webb used a fretless Kramer with one single P-Bass pickup. Not 100% sure it was a DMZ 4000 though.
  5. Dave, it always comes when you expect it the less. 😉
  6. I like these Spalt basses a lot and nearly bought one...
  7. Already reported, but, oops, I did it again.
  8. Both ads reported. I think we all need to do this, this way we may help some poor person not being poorer.
  9. And both ads reported right now. Please do the same.
  10. On a 4 string, the pickups have the Fender size and covers are removable. Changed the pickups on two Sire's and put the original pickup covers on one, but it needed a bit of TLC as the magnet rods are smaller on Sire, so I had to enlarge the holes to perfectly fit.
  11. I still have a see through red Kramer The Duke (Deluxe). Great basses indeed. May put it for sale one of these days...
  12. Looks like everything has been removed from eBay, including 2 other items (Tobias and another Ritter I was following). Hacked or blocked ? Did someone report these ads ?
  13. Headless for sure, but also pointy headstock basses... But which one would become a collector apart from a Steinberger XL2 (already very pricey) : no ideas, nor clues.
  14. I don't think he's been hacked as he's doing this for months and maybe even years (under other pseudos). Seen the email address before and reported it a few times to eBay, but he's still there... Or he's so easy to hack that you see what happens... 🤣
  15. Look here (Tobias pre-Gibson) and you'll understand that he knows exactly what he's doing and the real value if his items. He also certainly has a reserve price friend too. 😉
  16. Not at all, the guy is quite clever as the best way to sell at high prices when bids are involved is to start at the lowest price possible. I've been selling through eBay for years and always had the best results this way. Furthermore all his ads end on Sunday (local time), which is also another great way to get higher prices. 😉
  17. 50% discount on PSA, that's interesting. Too bad, I did my blood sample test two weeks ago and paid the full price. 🤣
  18. Me. 🤣
  19. If it's well done, yes. If not it can be worse than nothing. You have to link each shielded cavity to the main one, so grounding will be complete. And please do a total star grounding, otherwise it may also be useless. Also try to avoid unnecessary grounding or you may create a ground loop.
  20. Just in case, those green stamps were used from 1972 to 1980 and the codes for the instruments changed, so here it is deciphered for you : 01 : Precision Bass 03 : Rosewood fretboard 45 : 45th week 5 : 1975 2 : Day 2
  21. Yes, totally, a bit hard to decipher, but right.
  22. The Hipshot FM2 will work. Check this : https://hipshotproducts.com/products/a-style-fender-mount-bridges
  23. Where do you see or read 6 strings ?!? Or I'm the one needing (new) glasses...
