1. hook up an 8 ohm load and the amp can deliver 180 watts, hook up a 4 ohm load (two 8 ohm cabs or one 4 ohm cab) and the amp can deliver 300 watts.
2. It looks like the amp only has a jack output, no speakon. Use a jack to speakon cable (as in the last picture), never use a guitar cable. These jack to speakon cables can be bought ready-made.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what the EBMM Sterling SUB would be like. They're so rare I have only ever seen one in the flesh!
I didn't even know these existed. I thought SUBs were limited to StingRays only. I found one online, new for €849. Good price? Dunno what these were going for.

As per the previous post though, no lower than 4ohms
Go lower than 4 ohms and the amp will possibly release its magic smoke and perform a meltdown.

Thus bass already exists (US Sterling with 3 way selector for parallel/series/single coil.
I understand MM do sell replacement pick ups and EQs also.

Sound-wise the Sterling is kinda like a StingRay on steroids. It has a ceramic magnet pickup, the StingRay has alnico. It still very much sounds like a MusicMan though. While the switch brings three sounds I only use mine in parallel mode.

... it is not loud enough to disturb your neighbours.

Where's the fun in that?
My current rig. Biblical amounts of bass. You don't wanna live nextdoor...

Seriously now, how about a used SWR Workingmans combo (WM10 or WM12), perhaps? Roland Bass Cube is one to consider too.

Impulse buy and I seem to have got a new EBMM Sterling! Happy with it though and a very reasonable 8.5lbs which makes it my lightest bass, just a little less than my Classic 50's P.

You know the drill. Pics or it didn't happen...

What you really want is a used Classic Ray, now we're talking awesome quality
In other words, there's no substitute for the real thing (in either 2 or 3-band).
After 20+ years of StingRay tone lust I bought a new EBMM Sterling. A Sterling because I wanted a smaller body and narrow neck. It's a 2010 3-band EQ and has that sound I wanted for so long. It has the oiled neck and excellent fit & finish. I bought it online (untested) but it was all I hoped for and more. I believe you can buy a new EBMM bass unseen and it will not let you down. These are quality basses.

...
It's a USA Stingray 4HS 'Starry Night' SLO with MHS.
OMG, that's a killer bass in every aspect. Congrats! Clueless; what is "MHS"?
I've never handled a SUB or a a Ray34. I do have a EBMM Sterling and if you want that oiled neck feel then there's only one choice. Nothing compares to that neck feel IMO.
BTW new Stingrays can be found at nice prices though. Esse Music in Italy has a few left, starting at €1690. That emerald green sparkle is to die for!
The TH350 (and TH500) can do clean. Keep the drive down all the way, low-ish gain (with gain at its lowest it still produces sound) and use the master for volume. If I want more sparkle I pull the brightness knob on my DJ-Retro preamp.

.
Both the Sting Ray and Sabre control plates can be obtained by emailing Ernie Ball customer service.
Really? I thought that Ernie Ball wasn't that accommodating with regard to MusicMan parts. Usually they want the part you are replacing before you get the new one. Hence there's very few genuine MM parts available on ebay. Big Poppa himself wrote that if you swap the pickup(s) for something from a 3rd party hold on to your originals as he's not gonna supply you with new ones.

No speakon-out, only one 1/4" jack which struck me as a brave decision these days.
I guess they wanted to stick to the small form factor. A speakon out is bigger than a jack out.
John Fera (the NAMM sales rep.) should go into politics, describing the new offerings as "a whole new range"...
IIRC the older Warwick bodies were cut into three pieces, two side pieces and a center piece. The center piece had its back half removed, onto which the neck was glued. Then the two separately shaped sides were glued back on the neck+centerpiece. Result: a neck thru construction that's hidden from the front.
