  1. Bought a Shure iem system from John, and whilst it's not due until Saturday, comms etc. has been spot on and a top chap to deal with, and I have no doubt the unit will perform exactly as described! Top Basschatter!
  2. Hi Dood, Very interested in this, have various bits for sale which I need to shift to free up the funds, however I have a quick q... I run a mini 2 channel mixer, one channel for bass and 1 for ambient mic where the monitoring in a venue is sub par / non existent! In an 8 piece band it's often difficult to get any mix at all so this method has proved invaluable. Your unit looks considerably tidier than what I am using, hence the temptation - do you know if there is a way to feed the output in stereo to a sennheiser wireless iem? Presume a 3.5mm jack to 2 x 1/4 inch jack cable would exist, but do you know of any reason that wouldn't work? Many thanks, Rick

  4. Massively helpful folks, thank you. Eneloops looking like a good place to start! Much appreciated!
  5. Hi all, Sorry if there is a topic on this already, but a quick search didn't find anything. I'm looking for people's recommendations on the best rechargeable AA batteries and charger, please. I use a sennheiser wireless iem and a line 6 g75, if that makes any difference to offerings! Many thanks in advance, Rick
  6. I'm certain you won't be disappointed, I love mine - enjoy! V jealous of the interchangeable faceplates they now offer!

  8. They look excellent, and echo that the photos are top draw! That black p bass is a stunner 😍
  9. That the word "local" was referenced a couple of times put me off suggesting this!
  10. If courier becomes an option I'd be very interested - we're >4 hours apart unfortunately!
  11. NOW £10, space needed! A very reluctant sale of my trusty PA gear continues here - also selling 2 x RCF 712a speakers and a 905AS sub, and a soundcraft ui16 mixer. Happy to review offers against multiple items, or trade wise I'm looking for a Markbass 151 NY cab, cash adjusted accordingly. 4u front, 6u top and 6u rear - also included are 4 x 1u blank strips that I used to attach various pedals etc. to the top rack. For some reason the previous owner cut out a section of the rear panel, I believe for some power access but doesn't impact the structure. Collection / meet up preferred, though if you're happy to arrange a courier and accept the potential associated risks then that's fine too. Any questions or additional pictures required please let me know. Many thanks, Rick
  12. NOW £300 or will trade for a p-bass with cash adjustment as appropriate - budget to £500 including sub, or Markbass NY 151 cabinet. A really excellent and relatively compact subwoofer, a perhaps rare 1 person lift! The sub is quite tatty in places as is the cover on the base, however cosmetically looks fine and sounds fantastic. The crossover appears to not be working (I say appears, as I am no technical expert but makes a distorted noise through the tops when being used), hence the lower (IMO!) price than usual for one of these. Functions perfectly well as a dedicated sub and we operated it via Aux channel anyway, so was never an issue. Collection / meet up please. Any questions / additional photos required please let me know. Many thanks, Rick
  13. NOW £500 A very reluctant sale of my trusty PA gear continues here - also selling a soundcraft Ui16 and a 905AS sub, and a Gator mixer case. Happy to review offers against multiple items, or trade wise I'm looking for a Markbass 151 NY cab, cash adjusted accordingly. These tops have been faultless and coped perfectly in marquees to 200 people with a loud 4 piece band along with the previously mentioned subwoofer also pictured (but not in this sale). Come with the genuine rcf covers which are suitably worn in places, such is their job! The speakers themselves are in excellent condition. Collection / meet up please. Any questions / further pictures required please let me know. Many thanks, Rick
  14. NOW £225 A very reluctant sale of my trusty PA gear starts here - also selling 2 x RCF 712a speakers and a 905AS sub, and a Gator mixer case. Happy to review offers against multiple items, or trade wise I'm looking for a Markbass 151 NY cab, cash adjusted accordingly. For sale is 1 soundcraft Ui16 digital mixer with TP link router included. This is an absolute box of magic, and the only reason I was able to mix my bands sound for a couple of years with limited previous experience! The Internet is pouring with info on these, but they really are fantastic units - the only area these (and many mixers with built in routers) are a bit iffy on is the built in router - never caused me problems but having read others experiences, I added the TP link for belt and braces, which has been faultless. Can be operated from tablet / laptop / phone etc. I'd much rather not post, and welcome collection / meet up, however I've attached a picture of how it would be packaged if you want to go down the post route, obviously you would need to accept the associated risks - please add £10 if you want it posting. Any questions / additional pics required let me know. Many thanks, Rick
  15. Perfectly smooth transaction on a Smooth Hound wireless sold to Dan. Deal with in confidence. Thanks Dan!
  16. Here's my Alpher Cobia v2 in its most stealth form; I also have white pearl and black pearl pickguards which were bought in an effort to keep the GAS at bay!
  17. I use the markbass 151 and it has some serious welly for its size - done a number of gigs without pa support to c150 people (loud band, too) with no trouble at all. Would imagine the 121 is very similar, good luck!
  18. Afternoon friends, Seemingly the crossover in our RCF 905AS is jiggered - sub works fine but the sound it sends from the 2 outputs to 2 tops is horrendously crackly, oddly a slightly differing crackle for each channel! Have troubleshooted all options but certainly points to the crossover as the issue - the sound still comes through but the crackle is always audible. Any suggestions to repair, or are we to run it through an aux and remove the crossover from the equation...? Help much appreciated! Thanks, Rick
  19. Hi all, For sale is a very good condition Smooth Hound wireless unit, and it's been absolutely terrific. I think the form factor is the biggest draw, I've photo'd next to an iPhone se (old type, not included!) for scale, it really is tiny on the pedal board. Lots of nifty features and included is a jack adaptor that enable you to fold the transmitter over the strap, rather than plugging directly into the guitar jack socket. It doesn't have the sucker pads but I never got on with them anyway, and either used a little electrical tape or the jack adaptor. Comes with original box and postage to the UK included. Collection also very welcome. Any questions or additional photos needed just give me a shout. Many thanks, Rick
  20. I bought a line 6 g75 from Warren, which was a seamless transaction and posted with a lifetime supply of bubble wrap! Deal with the utmost confidence. Thanks Warren!
