  1. Would you post to me for next day delivery? if I paypal you the funds.. I need the unit for Thursday morning ultimate latest.
  2. I played one of these in a shop once many years ago and was quite happy to sit there all year but my Dad dragged me out the store screaming! Great bass, great sounding for that filthy funk bubble. Have a bump on me.
  3. Thats a cracking price for that bass too, I have played one of these and they really do have a nice punchy sound on them. I'm sure someone will snap this up soon enough, would have it myself but having 6 Bass guitars already the wife would surely kill me if number 7 arrived.
  4. I am very interested in this & I have sent you a PM. Thanks
  5. Any more photos of this? interested if you ever heading down London way I would seriously consider this.
  6. You're in Herts, so am I, drop me a PM and I would like to come and have a look at this I think...
  7. I'll make you an off for trade and I'll even come and collect/deliver. 1.Chibson 335 Bass upgraded Pups and electrics hard fitted case inc. 2. 8. The bloke I got mine from had an active circuit in his other VM Squier and he was telling me he preferred the passive sound, must say, after using mine in the studio the other day, I have to agree with him. I have never been keen on active guitars, I play a lot of traditional Ska and Reggae so the passive suits me better.
  9. I never had any intention of 'passing it off as a Fender', don't know where this has come from.. I have a Fender so I don't wish to pretend I have one. The LOOK was what I was after, I would leave the serial on HAD I of decided to change it but as I have already stated Im gonna leave it alone. Great basses for the price, Im delighted with mine, along with my other basses .
  10. Thanks, I didn't do it I own a Fender already but I was gonna rub the Fender logo off that one and put a Squier one on it so they match
  11. Just checked mine and it's ICS10 so must be a Cort Squier 2010, didn't realise it was such a new one.
  12. This is my 1995 MIJ 50th Anniversary '62 reissue P-Bass, had a good fortune with this bass. I love it. [attachment=180646:MARC2940.jpg] [attachment=180645:L1001185.jpg] [attachment=180644:_MAK2865.jpg] [attachment=180643:_MAK2214.jpg]
  13. Thanks that looks just like mine now LOL... You have got me thinking about using a toned laquer to achieve an older looking finish, I would like that I think. Also, I have decided to leave the headstock as Squier & swing proud.
  14. Thanks guys I have not ordered the Fender Decal yet and may very well not do it. The Squier decal is very easy to remove using fine wire wool. Mornats - I like the darker tone of the laquer on your neck, maybe I will just 'age' the look of the original. At the moment it just seems way too 'MATT/SATIN' for my taste although of cause this does not affect the sound one bit. Nice to have a Jazz Bass to compliment my MIJ '62 reissue (off white/tort).
  15. Still fighting with myself about changing the 'Squier' Decal for a Fender one ... I got this Bass from a BC member here as he lives local & happens to be a very good friend of mine too, & I have decided to give her a bit of a face-lift. I like the way it is going thus far, looks are not as important as playability and sound but my must confess that this Bass sounds very decent and has a very low fast action just how i like it. 16. As a new member I am still feeling my way around here but this seems very interesting thing to be involved in. I have obviously missed the December boat but I look forward to the January challenge. I have just built my Studio in the bedroom and this will be perfect drive to get me using it again.
  17. The Alesis are great units as stated above. If you need more channels then I went with an M-Audio 26/26 it has never let me down (yet) and gives you 8/8 from the unit with facility to connect a further 2 units to give you 24/24.
