I admit i have no need to spend this money on a case, i don’t even take my Gator Transit out of the house, which is more than good enough as far as protection goes. I just fancy a top loading case, more compact than the Vertigo and something that will sit well on one shoulder. It's only money after all 😎

Nice one. If there are Windows 7 drivers on their website then you are good to go. I love my BDDI v2, although have no need for it at the moment. Ill probably never sell it though. I even use my Helix with the BDDI sim on all the time.

I have plenty of basses that cost way more than £160 so for me its a non issue. The price is what it is, same with anything these day. For me its worth it because it has all the features i want. Many cheaper bags have most, but not all in one bag.

Yeah, and it seems Mono have added this to the Stealth but didnt on the Sleeve. Quite a price difference and to be honeset its more a luxury rather than a necessity, even buying a new bag is more GAS than anything else, but hey ho, its the BC way 🙂

Ended up ordering a Stealth from Thomanns. Should be here by the weekend so ill update the thread with a small review. I was going to get the Sleeve, but what swung it for me was the ability to pack the straps away when not in use. All my bags have the unused straps either tied up or just hanging, as i only use one shoulder strap or the handle on them. I like the idea of not having too much hanging down.

Thanks for the comments. I liked the Vertigo when I had it, until i found i couldn't fit it behind the front seats of the car. It was just slightly too bulky. It's only ever me that carries the bass so i dont need all the extra protection. With all my other bass I normally just use a very, very thin Levy's bag. No protection at all really, but it sits really low as on the shoulder, which is ideal. I remember getting the Vertigo over the Stealth as i planned to use my Sire bass, and the knobs stick out quite a bit and i was worried about them getting snapped off. None of my other basses would have this issue though, and i only want it for my Yamaha PB34.

Well i did say that in jest, but I will add that IMO being a good player doesn't necessarily make you any expert on gear. You only have to look at the Rig rundowns on YT to see a lot of top players are not always in to gear, not even the stuff they earn a living with. Not saying JE wasn't in to gear, but i dont think the two always go hand in hand.

The framing is done in the GoPro app after the footage is taken. Because the camera records everything you can then select what you want the viewer to see. It's as easy as tapping on the time line at the relevant point, and then re sizing or rotating the footage with your fingers. Pinching in zooms in etc. The footage can also be reframed to different aspect ratios. It's all user controlled, hence the over done panning 🙂 and yes, apparently ladies dont sweat.....or fart 😎

Here's a song from last nights gig. Not one we normally do, but i think we got through it ok. I was also suffering from very bad left had cramp (hence the grumpy face).This was the first time out with my Quilter BB800 and Fearless F112. Sound was good in the room from the rig, but im still getting use EQrather than have the cab thicken it all up. This was taken using my GoPro Max, attached to the PA speaker stand. No editing other than re-framing in the GoPro app on my iphone. Very impressed with the audio, especially considering it was inches from the speaker.

Interesting as i have the Korg PX4D still, and last time i used it i thought it sounded the opposite to how you are hearing it. The latest Zoom stuff is pretty good, but not really a patch on the Helix stuff IME. There are many USB interfaces around, but Focusrite seems to be very popular. I have the older 2i2, but this one should work a treat for you. Very stable Windows drivers as well. Completely plug and play with noting to set up in Windows itself. Well we arent short on space so i guess your way is the neatest. I'm waiting of Eros to do a song when ill actually need to shift the whole bass in to a different key. I mainly use it at home for leaning songs in different keys.

Just set both to the same switch and then turn one off. The switch just then alternates them. Simple once you get your head around all this lol.

No, I meant you can edit/tweak all the settings in the different blocks using just the foot switches while still playing. Probably not relevant in your case though. I plan on doing it tonight to get the Blend set right in the BDDI. Easier to do while actually playing rather than bending down to do it. I think i this is one of the coolest features on the FX.

Thanks but that doesnt look much different from my Gator. Both have walls, whereas the Stealth doesn't. My Gator isnt that big, but when I'm carrying the bas and a bag on one shoulder and my cab in the oither hand its quite cumbersome. I have thinner gig bags that work fine but i want something in between. I should have pointed out I'd like a top loader for a change.

I'm pretty much like you, at the moment I'm using pitch shifting for the first time and really enjoying it. You can actually adjust the pitch etc using just your feet rather than having to bend down, but ive not tried that yet.

As above. I'm still looking for the ideal gig bag for my Yamaha BBP34. I have a Gator Transit, nice bag but a bit bulky for what need. The Stealth looks ideal, but i dont see much talk of it. I had a Vertigo bag but that too was a bit too bulky. The Sleeve doesnt look quite as good although that's also on the list.

I was thinking of getting the pedal, but still need to find a need for it first lol.

Ive got two general patches. Each has LA comp (not on at the moment), Kinky Boost, BDDI and Filter along the top. At the moment the BDDI has a footswitch but I'm going to change that once i get more comfortable with it. It's on all the time but If its not on a switch then its harder to access for tweaking. At the end of each patch is a Parametric, which at the moment is just used for the HPF feature. Kinky Boost is used to drive the BDDI when i need a bit more gain, but that will normally only be when the guitarist is soloing, or we are playing songs like Vertigo, Should i stay etc. Bottom row of each is either Octave down, or Simple Pitch shift set to 1 octave higher. Both are on Path B so the BDDI's low end boost doesn't effect them. Next to that is 70's Chorus, and then Script Phaser. So the only difference between the two patches is the pitch shifting. There is a 3rd patch, used for just one song, which has the Vermin Dist with quite a high gain, and pitch whammy. This is me trying to emulate the main guitar part in Lonely Boy. My guitarist doesn't have a whammy bar or pedal that can do the dive so i do it. Sounds quite cool. I have Vermin and my standard BDDI set to footswitch 4, so when I turn Vermin off the BDDI comes on. love this feature. Also got a noise gate at the end of this patch, for obvious reasons. Saying all that, ive yet to gig this yet. That's tonight. Tonight will be the first gig with the new amp, cab and FX (and even 360 camera to capture it all).

I'd still take a 1212L over my Fealress F112 if i was playing a big room with no PA support. That cab could easily fill a room with punchy bass.

Hmm, hard to say as i hadnt used my CV Jazz for almost a year before changing the pups (i did it on a whim), but i would say the CS pups have a warmer tone, more polite at the very top end but still with loads of clarity.

I had that cab, and while i loved it to bits it was quite heavy. I also got a 1212L for another band i was playing with, and there was a noticeable difference in weight. Well worth it if you do go that route.

Never owned a big cab, nor 2 cabs at once (as a rig), but i have enjoyed using the rehearsal studios 'Dinosaur' rigs over the years. Its only when i try and move them that i realise why Ive never owned one. I couldn't even begin to imagine how i would have gigged with something so big and cumbersome.
