  1. Collection only is hassle free, and thats what some of us want. Having the extra bit on the end can make a hassle free sale more complicated, and some chose not to want that extra responsibility. Buyer arranges that bit is a half way measure. Seller gets the hassle free part, buyer pays the same anyway, and also has the option of paying a bit less if they want to skimp on a decent courier or thinks the seller is making a bit on top etc. Everyone still wins. What’s not to get?
  2. How would you know what to change so it keeps the same character, but changes the low or highs? I doubt its as simple as turning one knob for each. Dont get me wrong, i like the tone, been using it for a while in my Stomp as a starting block, but my point is its not really a substitute for the real thing. Its like his BDDI EQ patch vs the BDDI sim that came later. The first is a sample of what it i can sound like, but the second is the real deal (more or less).
  3. Works 100% both ways though IME. You still have to work with the buyer being in and not chopping and changing.
  4. Well its still going to sound like your Sadowsky no matter what you put it through 😉 The thing with this patch is, if I’m correct, its just emulating one setting, so hardly a replacement for the real thing unless you only use this one setting all the time.
  5. Ive got that, and my son has the G1on. Ether can be used for either instrument. The B1 will have Bass amps, the G1 guitar amps. For home playing i don’t think either are really important, they are just fancy EQ’s anyway. Personally I’d get one of the newer B1-Four or G1-Four versions, and it sounds like the version with the expression pedal built in might be the way to go.
  6. In that case I’d look here as well
  7. I love Marks way of teaching. Out off all the Free online tutors ive seen Mark is always the one that gets through to me and i come away feeling ive learnt something. Maybe its just the level I’m at and attention span i have. Maybe one day ill sign up to his paid courses.....when i have time 😂
  8. Well it would do if you are using a Sadowsky 🤔
  9. @Al Krow. Been meaning to ask. How are your finding the B string on the P7 compared to your BB1025? I know you had issues with the neck pup on the low string.
  10. Over the years ive sold a couple of things on here that have got lost in the post. I wasted time trying to track them down, and had to refund the buyers while i waited for the courier company to refund me. Not a smooth transaction and in one case i never got a refund so was out of pocket. I’m happy to post some items, but if i say collection only ill stick to it, because ive decided if it goes tits up i dont want the extra time and hassle of sorting it out, and possibly being a lot of money out of pocket. I’m not sure of the legal implications but I’m sure the buyer will have to do all the chasing if it doesn’t turn up. My choice and I’m happy to lose out on a sale because of it.
  11. Its just settings for the Parametic EQ. Just put it where you want or use it on its own. Ive used it at the start of a chain/preset, as thats where it would be if it were in a bass.
  12. Yeah, he has some cool sounding speaker cab sims as well, using only EQ.
  13. My CV Jazz (first run) had a buzz. It was a machine head that wasnt fixed to the tuner shaft properly. I put a tiny bit of super glue on it and its been fine ever since (about 13 years i believe)
  14. I had a bass for sale on here, local collection only in London, and was pestered by a guy in Spain that wanted it sent. Took quite a few messages and the sale to get rid of him. My point is, some people wont care about what the seller puts
  15. No problem, i thought that might be the case. As it i is my BB435 went back. Lovely bass but i just didnt feel I shouldn’t be spending that money with what’s going on in the world at the moment. I might need it to buy food at some point rather than have yet another bass.
  16. What’s this about? I never said that.🤔
  17. I just past the top of your road. Wanted to pop in and see your Sadowsky killer, but with things how they are I thought I’d leave it for now.
  18. The whole bass bares more than a little resemblance to a Sadowsky. Both are PJ’s which sound authentic, both are active, both have very playable necks, both are more than gig worthy. Come to think of it, why buy a Sadowsky in the first place lol.
  19. Ive recently been using his 8x10 EQ patch over the IR's i have. I feel this works really well for my headphone practice.
  20. As soon as i posted that statement above i thought about that bass lol. I expected Paul to post it though.
  21. Those that do RTFM become god like on websites like this lol.
  22. Very nice tone. Love a bit of growl in the low notes.
  23. Yep, once ive read it i don’t need it anymore 😄
  24. Well i am one of those that likes to read the manual and do a lot of research before getting something (or while its on its way), so i try and get as familiar as i can with something as soon as i can. I have, and still do, struggle with my Zoom’s, but the Helix seem to be very well laid out.
