5. Hello Duplicate gift for sale so absolutely mint and unmarked in any way whatsoever Details here http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/R-B-Bass-Bible/5843580 Would like to recover cost so £7 plus inland shipping by cheapest way at cost ? Pm please
6. I have asked for some bass playalong books for Xmas so going to learn some Hendrix and police songs. I can already do the simple version of all along the watchtower but its not the original I know it's simple stuff but you have to start somewhere. I'm also learning some songs a local singer songwriter has written - they're solo parts at moment and he wants help to flesh them out with 12 string and bass Edit: my little one is three and I still get little practice time
7. @Gs1000 Good - that you're near probably helped. Didnt help me : Jaco book took ages but that might be because our postman is both slow and dyslexic
8. For me it was listeing to a few specific track and realising just how powerful bass is. Andy Fraser on All Right Now John Taylor on anything Adam Clayton on New Years Day(on Under a blood red sky)
9. I had a quick read on the train (long delay due to suspect package left by some prat at sileby station helped)- up to where he hears of elvis dying and I felt I was standing right behind him for those events. When you next talk to him, Bluejay, please pass on my complements on a job well done. Not a bass-geek book but an interesting vignette into a life
10.
Answer should be "Yes, it's a bass guitar".
Sorry - I disagree . Different instrument played differently for different reasons giving a different sound in a different role.
11. Thanks to BlueJay for taking the time to pass this to me in Central London. I didnt help by being underground in the sea Life centre, and thsu out of mobile communciation, changing plans on the day, texting my location to someone else by mistake, and also stepping away from our table to check if the disabled toilet was free just as she was looking for me but she still found us. Thanks again I shouldnt be too long, who's next ?
12. This is now winging its way to GS1000 today via the tender care of Royal Mail . Hopefully a miracle will occur and it will reach him safely
13. I have a closest of marlowdk s jazz bass as my wallpaper, and I often bring my bass in (in a gig bag) when I have a lunchtime lesson. So they probably know. One did say "have you brought in a guitar?" Answer "no, it's a bass"
14. I learned both together and it went ok. I just bought a 12 string
15. Three notes is good enough - U2 did a good-enough version on rattle and hum using just D, C & Bb
16. Yes think so - read back. I'm waiting on mr gs1000 to get back to me
