1. Hi, can you mark this as withdrawn in the title please. I am interested but assume you've had a change of heart? Looks like you're new here. When we sell or trade or withdraw, it's best to edit the actual title so we all know. Cheers

SOLD

These AVRI Jazzes are excellent. They are a bit of an unknown to most, but they are the best things to leave the Fender factory in decades. Good luck with the sale - I'm keeping mine. Definitely a future collectable.
3.
Are you restricted to what interfaces you can use?
You don't have to use Avid's own interfaces since version 9. It is worth checking first, though most modern interfaces will work. To the OP: Is this version just for Windows? I think all versions are Windows or Mac. It's the iLok asset which allows the program to run.
4. Yes indeed, from 1962-1968: 5 for precision, 7 for Jazz, 6 for Bass VI, 11 Bass V, 17 Mustang Bass, 18 Coronado bass and 23 Telecaster bass. Until 1969 when it all changes! Anyway, to get back onto the topic at hand, let's not forget about this lovely 66 Jazz for sale!
5.
Uh oh... Neck DOB May 2 1966. My DOB May 3 1966. Can't get much closer to a DOB bass than that! Gorgeous...
Don't fret, it's actually a 7 not a 2 . 7 being the model number for a Jazz Bass, not the day date. All any of us could know for sure is the neck was made in May 66. Could have been the 3rd!
6. Another stunning bass Si. These dot and bound 66 Jazzes are getting harder and harder to find these days, especially in this codition. GLWTS
7. What a fabulous looking bass. Superb detailing and relic job. I think some of us know how this lacquer relic is achieved but getting it to look so good is an art in itself. GLWTS
8. Roman just collected some old Sound on Sound magazines from me - arriving bang on time as arranged. Although I was giving the items away free for collection, he very thoughtfully brought me a gift - a bottle of red! Very nice gesture indeed! Top bloke. Many thanks!
9. We are not able to pick it up, smell it, get the magnifier on it...even play it. As a consequence, we need as many detailed photographs as possible. If it was a bargain price it would have gone already - the price asked dictates the information required. Good luck.
10. Maybe you should get the "official" certificate first? Then maybe people would be interested in buying it.
11. Loads and loads of Sound On Sound magazines. From the mid 80s to a couple of years ago . A car boot full (depending on car boot). Free to collect Kennington London.
12. Which shop are we talking about for the authentication? They are not all created equal. Picture of the back of the pickups should help determine if they are original or not. The neck plate is not enough to authenticate the date I'm afraid.
13. Such a lovely 60s colour! I have the Lake Placid Blue version of this bass. I would offer a trade as I like the colour of yours, but it too has a rosewod neck. I think these AVRI Fenders are the best things they've produced in ages. GLWTS.
14. Is it just the serial number making you think it's a 75? A picture with the guard off may be helpful - see where the thumb rest holes are. It might be a 71 with the wrong neck plate? Odd to fit a set of 71 pots? Also it would be nice to see a pic of the neck end - even if there is no visible stamp.
15. This neck and plate looks right - as said previously 4 bolts are about in 75 too. The neck is clearly a correct 4 bolt neck. Is there a stamp on the end of the neck?
16. Neck stamp, pots (74 as shown) and pickup dates would help establish the year. The serial plate numbers can be very wide in terms of dates. Any chance of those photos?
17. No, it's not odd at all. Sounds like a really nice bass. Good to have those tone options too. I'm still enjoying the Jaco CS you sold me though - for the benefit of other readers, that was the joke by the way! Good luck with the sale! You only ever have really good basses, somebody will be very pleased with this one. Cheers.
18. Wayne bought my Bad Ass II bridge, paid in a flash. Great buyer. Many thanks Cliff
19. Still available. Can't post overseas at this price I'm afraid. Price for UK post only.
20. I am selling this Leo Quan Bad Ass II bridge, finished in chrome and in really great condition. Slots professionally filed for a Fender Jazz but will work on Jazz and Precision basses as a direct replacement for the standard bridge. £55 including UK delivery. Even still have the original packaging with it. Paypal gift only please. Thanks...
21. I think we would all benefit from detailed pictures. Neck pocket, inside the cavaties etc. If it is a refin it does make a difference to value. Also pickup and pot dates and neck stamps. In fact all the detailed pictures you can think of ( and a few more!)
