Can I request the full set of pictures please? I think you would do well to post the pictures up on this ad. I can't tell from the one pic what's happening with the guard? Is it a replacement? Seems to have a cut out near the truss...

Up for sale is my vintage 1970 Telecaster Bass with original case. Absolutely superb bass with the chunky C profile neck. Only issue is 3 small holes in the guard and body when the thumb rest was moved by a previous owner to above the E string. Only issue with case is a changed latch and an extra latch put on. This is the earlier Telecaster bass with the single pick up. Not to be confused with the 1972 and later version which is a completely different beast. No changes or modifications except for the extra screw holes. Everything dates to 1970. White guard has mother of pearl on the underside as it should have for this period. £2450 or possible trades with vintage Fender. Monday morning - and it's time to mention the JV is still available. Folks, it's £600 collected, or plus postage to wherever... UK postage can be as little as £15. I can meet somewhere mutually convenient perhaps too.

Thanks, they are indeed great basses. This one has a brand new set of Thomastik Roundwounds on it. That's £60 worth of new strings. It's also been recently set-up.

Lots of trading enquiries but nothing solid as yet. Good little bass for someone.

What a shame it's collection only...too far for me I'm afraid. Great price...surprised it's still here! Someone local should snap this up.
