  1. There will be much of this in the near future, bands playing for a reduced fee. Fair enough if it's a paid hobby, not so great if it's your living. Saying that we've just taken a booking for October 2021 at our normal rate
  2. I reckon this is your best bet. There's also Gumtree and your local Facebook marketplace although the later can be problematic with more time wasters
  3. We did this in lockdown for an online event. Some excellent contributions from some of our fans (checkout Nicky in the bottom right corner... delightfully bonkers). Hours and hours of editing and syncing by our guitarist Mel (top right corner)
  4. I shall keep my eyes peeled. Anyone would think I spent all day looking at basses on eBay 😂
  5. Looks like it's been taken down now
  6. erm..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333650093636 Pretty sure the Custom Shop decal is on the wrong way and those tuners look awful cheap n shiney for a genuine 64
  7. If it had a maple fretboard I'd be all over this 🙂
  8. Ooh, bet that brings tears to her eyes
  9. kinky stuff by DM only please
  10. Dodgy imo. Walk away
  11. Yes, we've recorded there too Shameless plug
  12. Interesting comparison of different condenser mics, from cheap to expensive, by Mark Parkins who runs Psyrex Soundlab in Nottingham https://www.psyrex.co.uk
  13. NOW SOLD Barefaced One 10, number 31 Purchased from TJ Spicer of this parish, this cab is an early one. It has suffered from the typical vinyl peel which I've repaired with a kit from Alex. There's a before pic for comparison. I have the glue pots and spreaders from Alex which will come with although hopefully you won't need them for a fair while I can ship by courier for the cost (around £20 I would think), you can collect from me in Nottingham or happy to do a meet up if it's not too far Comes with an as new Roqsolid cover - also purchased off BC No trades ideally but try me, you never know, particularly a nice Chowny! Here's the thread from my purchase Before repair pic

  14. A belated welcome Mark from another Nottinghamshire BC'er
  15. You missed out she often plays barefooted and has incredible legs!
  16. 12 ☹️ Some educated guessing in that too I got Cliff Burton wrong..... I'll leave BC in my shame and never darken it's portals again
  17. Width of the neck at the nut? Thanks
  18. Just completed this gig. Went pretty well except the bell mic fell off the sax and no-one noticed and one of the guitarists broke a string. We only did 4 numbers 🙂. Stage was nice! Pic of the singer/songwriter on before us
  19. I've bought basses of eBay. Valuable ones I've collected if within 100 miles or so and paid cash after testing (hadn't occurred to me to check that the TR is working or not - useful advice). I had a problem with one bass off eBay where the truss rod was broken (bought delivered, not collected) and simply returned it and got my money back - simples. Buy from sellers with 100% feedback and where the listing has been done with some thought with decent photos. Ask plenty of questions and ask for extra photos - a genuine seller won't mind this.
  20. Agreed. I have my eye on one of their short-scale semi acoustic jobs if one comes up at a reasonable cost
