1. Another lovely review http://www.thegirlsare.com/2013/11/12/review-kit-richardson-2/
 2.
Cracking song this. Absolutely love it.
Oh thanks mate! Delighted you love it! You can download it for free from our record company's Bandcamp page if you want a high quality version that's much nicer than the YT sound http://coolforcatsrecords.bandcamp.com/track/all-heart-no-brains
 3.
How come the implied swear word in the thread title is allowed, yet Nigel's similar one was changed by mods?
Mate, I asked them to change it because I offended myself.
 4.
Plus you get all the fun of dealing with the unknown, unwashed public on ebay ( the good, the bad, and the downright dishonest and ugly!).
Bloody riffraff.
 5.
Only other free ones I can think of are Preloved or Free-cycle maybe they are the etc?
There you go then, he's got loads of marvellous options to save £7 by going elsewhere instead of selling a £900 Stratocaster on a bass forum.
 6.
Tried to put up a post to sell my mint custom shop artist series USA Fender Strat but got a message saying it now costs £7. Appreciate website owners need to cover costs but thats a bit extreme when I can post on gumtree etc for nothing.
Interested to know what the etc are.
 7.
Looks to me that the one in the video has the pickup a bit nearer the neck than the one shown in fareastguitars?
Good lord, you're right!
 8. "I'm putting together a live band to back a talented local rapper with the view of having some fun and doing a few shows." And he wants your money to help him do it. So, if you are paying for this privilege of backing a talented local rapper, what are you getting out of it? A return on your investment of some sort? I haven't contributed to rehearsal or recording costs since about 1997. The artist pays for all those in the bands I'm in. If this band is going to be a collective vision and you will get writing and arrangement credits, and you find you are really enjoying it, then go for it if it looks like it will last.
 9.
Sorry Nige that was me using a picture of myself taken several years ago. I've got much shorter hair now and don't use eye liner anymore. Again sorry, just thought it'd be a bit of fun.
I thought I recognised that magnificent chin!
 10. And now a terrific tart looking for fun in Indianapolis.
 11.
You considered a US tour yet Nige?
12. Jesus, not another! Miss bloody San Francisco now. This was the other day, some NYC tartlet. And previously, a Phoenix Philly.
 13.
Well, given your comments on my eyesight previously, an easy mistake for me to make
14.
Just noticed this. Great sound Nigel, I'm surprised at the depth of tone from the HB. Dubtastic. The Zulu bass sound as good as it looks. Good job mate.
Cheers Sam, I'm really pleased with it and can't wait to debut it at the London Zulu gig in a couple of weeks
 15.
Busted
Nope, I prefer MILFs to Busted.
 16. That's ******** ******* ****** and **** ******* KOOL!
 17.
i just went to chyeck my soundcloud to make sure that user466827063 wasnt me it wasnt but i did see a little heart on the dashboard i clicked on it it said .....silddx is following you bless
Oh. So you're not that nice lonely chick from Welwyn Garden City?
 18. I reliced my new USA Strat after I dinged it. I've been depressed ever since.
 19. A mate of mine has John Entwistle's '70s Jazz. It had been modded with an XLR.
 20.
I think there's a lot of mixing of reviewing of the band and reaction to the band. A reaction requires no defense or explanation. It can be like a Benny Hill skit -- everyone knows it's just dopey, but if it makes you laugh, it succeeded in doing what it intended to do. That has more value than attempting Shakespeare and bombing.
And?
 21.
Please don't - you nearly had my eye out with it last time.
I'm worried about the cotton though, must be a bugger to clean off.
 22.
Is all this Curtainage referring to a woman's lady-parts? Keep going, I might have to whip my cotton wrapped 'Mod Hammer' out.
No mate, I referred to CURTAINS metaphorically, as in drawing them open to reveal the light of possibility that most people miss, with a tiny reference to how people so often make stupid judgements based on gender. I had thought my play on words was too heavily veiled, but Discreet is way sharp
 23.
So managing a female band has its advantages, obviously.
Bloody hell mate, you are highly perceptive. Didn't think anyone would pick up my cheeky play on words
 24.
It is the sort of racket that I like, but referring to them as 'fairly reasonable' is a bit of a diss! It's like saying they are 'enjoyably mediocre'. Which they're not. Mediocre, I mean.
I had titled it "I F****** LOVE This Band!" but a mod edited it to 'blimmin' because implied swearing offends people apparently, even with 90% asterisks. I therefore changed it in a fit of pique to reflect my disappointment.
 25.
I don't think this original.
I agree, it's highly derivative, but that doesn't make it worthless. I almost never hear music that can be termed 'original', and when it does pop up occasionally no-one wants to hear it anyway because most music consumers are inherently lazy and need to be herded by opinion formers. Interesting that the band are managed by the guy who manages Sigur Ros. Clearly he can see through the curtains.
