1. I just looked at the Warwick site and there is no mention of the Corvette Standard in the current list or discontinued??! What the hell is going on? I'll have to have a nose around the Warwick forum later. You could try selling it on the Warwick.de Forum actually.
  2. I feel for you man, believe me. I've seen these go for about £400. It's such a shame you don't like it, I love mine, but I resprayed it white and got black hardware for it. I have no constructive suggestions, I'm afraid. Good luck EDIT: Christ, I just had a look at the Thomann listings and the one I bought is now the same price as yours, unbelievable!

Nice one mate Have a bump.
  4.
When God does the judgement day thing and burns all sinners in hell, yadda yadda yadda ..
I read that as "bums all sinners in hell" What a gay deity.
  5.
Did someone mention reverb? I'm a reverb tart, love it. Should be made law that there must reverb on everything. As with aresnic and urb and as I've alluded to before I like your solo stuff (as does Mrs M, she has impeccable taste, married me after all). EDIT: I can't really comment on the mix and so forth, I've listened to them through my iMac and the speakers are quite frankly awful and tinny.EDIT As a tune, I probably prefer Sun Shine. Great stuff. Cheers
I seem to be a hit with the laydees Thanks Marv.
Now £500 collected for a short period, (after a certain Precision that has come up). Please remember, this looks almost new apart from a tiny chip on the headstock. It also has £400 worth of real Rickenbacker parts. Thanks, Karl.
When you say "worth", do you mean that's what they cost or what they are "worth" second hand? I'd really like it but I can't do anything about that until the Steinberger Double Neck shifts.
  9. This also comes with a spare set of bass strings and two spare sets of guitar strings, one with the top E missing. Both brand new LaBella Steinbergers. I also have spare used sets of D'Addario and others This such a bargain now. With about £50 or more of spare strings.
  10.
Thaks for the trade offer for my p bass Sorry, but have a bump
Thank you, mate!
  11.
A couple more pics attached. As you can see, it also has stereo outputs. It comes with a hardcase, but the previous owner chopped a bit off the end of the case because of the size of the headstock. Sounds like it might even be in a guitar case judging by that. Cash price would be £400 firm.
Would he be interested in my Steinberger Double neck? Since he plays guitar and bass like me.
  12.
Sorry mate .. not really looking for trade at present. Unless it's an outstanding harmonica valve combo
No worries! Cheers, N
  13. Hello OG, Fancy a straight swap - either one for this? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=78975 Cheers, N
  14.
Bad habit of mine, hitting it too hard. Poor old fingertips get a hammering.. they go numb also. I always say Ill take it easy next time but never do. Its a bit like se Ooops better stop there.
15.
Heard about it on a tutorial for floating thumb, 'the guy' said he got CTS due to bad technique/bass position. Stretching, straining and tension cant be healthy no matter what youre doing IMV
Agreed, but that's a combination of things. You need to relax and hold your wrist at a natural angle to ensure blood flow is not restricted. Any prolonged stress position will potentially do you some damage. That said, I've probably got terrible picking hand posture and I play so hard live sometimes that my fingers go completely numb.
  16.
Yea, its even been suggested that constant stretching etc can cause injury. Carpal tunnel syndrome, ouch!
Eh? Who told you that? CTS and other infammatory conditions are normally caused by prolonged flexion, extention, and ulnar or radial deviation in the wrist. Nothing to do with "stretching".
  17.
Don't let violinists rib you abot intonation, ngh. They have no right to point that particular finger. Definition of a minor ninth? A violin and fretless bass playing unison lines!!!
18.
Lowden Acoustic
 Hello mate.
  19. Cheers man! Yeah, I'd never put that much reverb on now!
  20. If you are using a mic tuner and placing it in front of your amp, it won't really work, amplified frequencies can mess with the mic. You really need an in-line tuner that you plug your bass into, like a Boss TU-2 or on of those cheap Korg tuners. Plug you bass into the tuner, have your eq flat, volume knob full up and use the bridge pick up. Pluck the string lightly and tune UP to pitch, never down to pitch. Hope that makes sense, mate.
  21. Hello Mike, OK, I really like the drums, I REALLY like the autowah type bass groove at the beginning and the end, keys sound good too. I'm afraid the trad sound bass soloing in the middle doesn't do it for me. It sounds like it's right on the edge of your ability which makes it uncomfortable to listen to, if the track was slower it would allow you room for the expression which I think you were trying to get into it, but that's not the point of the tune. It's the drums and the autowah bass I like best, that seriously rocks and it's inspiring to listen to. Good stuff!
  22. Thank you, Mike! It is a tad OOT, I had a MIJ Strat that was a lovely player but I couldn't get it to stay in tune properly. I've got an album's worth I did around the same time, and a few new ones, I'm thinking I might give myself a little project and re-recording and arranging them from scratch, just for fun! When I get the time. Really appreciate your comments. And Arsenic's. Cheers. BTW, I installed the latest QT and I still can't play your number.
  23. Thanks Terry! Pleased your lady likes it too! I did that on a Yamaha MT8X cassette 8 track and a POD mk1. Thanks again mate. Nigel
