His bass lines just seem to blossom, so rich in their expression, I think he'll be one of the great prog-pop bassists, if he gets the chance at longevity.

This thread was mentioned when I tried Happy Jack's double bass on Saturday, and had a quick lesson from Clarky. I am so glad I did that! Now I know for sure I never want to do it again, and a little bit of space in my brain is now free to use for something else

Back OT, there appears to be an assumption going on that the OP's problem is actually CAUSED by playing bass, (or excessive/overexuberant masturbation, but we'll leave that area alone - for now). Her symptoms are very possibly caused by something else and exacerbated (that's EXACERbated) by playing bass, or playing bass with poor posture and hand/wrist positioning. Best to go to the GP and get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
