1.
That's a lot of bass for little money.
Thanks, I paid £150 shipped from a BC'er and have added knobs and a new battery carrier. So I think £150 is a very fair price
 2. Should have said no trades. I am having a clear out and a rest from bass for a while.

 6. http://youtu.be/3_ekeIPDLCg This girls playing makes me cry. Her technique is flawless. Her innovation is spectacular. She is musical, in so much as no notes are wasted. I honestly think she is the best bassist I have heard since Jaco. I think we are about to witness the next bass phenomenon. And she has some proper bass face....
 7. Have a bump on me, and thanks for the kind words folks. This bass was one of 4 I made to this design. If my memory serves me correctly the body is ash with a European oak top. Paul
 8. Like it, thanks for sharing. Grandmaster Flash meets The Stone Roses

 10.
It's certainly a thought but I am not aware of too many bassists in rock bands that play sitting down (happy to be corrected tho) and to be honest I would feel a bit of a twat if I did!!
Who cares, start a new trend, sitting is good enough for the big guy

 12. Disclosure were superb on Friday with Howard playing live bass (Fender Jazz) and getting some mean tones from it. Enjoyed Nao, Does anyone know who the bass player is? He plays a Musicman through a plethora of effects to give a synth / keyboard sound. .
 13.
Cort curbow. Dead light. Dead cheap, dead good.
+1 on this. I have both fretted and fretless Luthite bodied Curbows that weigh in around the 7lb mark and can be had for £150.00 secondhand.
 14. I think Monz had one but he has not been active since March 2015. It had plenty of 'balls' as I remember. 15. John bought my Mayones BE4. Easy transaction and a gent to deal with.
 16.
In the late 70s a mate's band "7 Year Itch" were doing OK, they were actually "big in Spain". They were taken to court by another band with the same name. They lost. No problem they thought, they just changed the bands name to an abbreviation of the guitarists name, which brought the world "Wamm", just prior to a certain young duo's first hit. They gave up soon after that.
Bugger, I remember watching a band called '7 Year Itch' and now I am confused as to which one I saw!
 17.
I tried listening to both but ended up punching myself in the face to relieve the audio assault! Whiny male vocal with acoustic guitar...how different can it get in the bed wetter genre (as it was described on radio 5 today)
18. Graham bought my modded HB Jazz. No fuss, simple sale, as they all should be.

 20.
Think I'll get further than half hour in with this one.
Any particular reason? and can I purchase your DVD please ? ;-)
 21. Sunny Saturday Bump. The case is worth £50 so a Mayones for the price of a Squier.
