Lee brought my Yamaha BB1024. A friendly and honest chatter. Good comms and smooth payer… deal with ease! Thanks. Greg.

I know what you mean. I cannot go too light either, so instead, I stick with regular or thicker 🙂 👍.

Same here! There is some album stuff that I have liked - some songs have grown on me over time - but have always been more of a 'singles' person overall 🙂.

Of course, there are the standards such as ‘hair’ and ‘pow’ etc, but a personal favourite is ‘Now Do-U-Wanta Dance’, but this version [see below]. It is slower and the bassline is different to the original. So much funk at 00.28! 🙂

Thanks all for your welcomes! I have just price-dropped my items for sale. Check out their ads in the marketplace! 🙂

Lol. Don’t give me cold feet! 😁 I was reluctant to sell at first, but I have not used it in a long time, which is unfair, as it deserves all the playing time it can get. So it needs to go 😉

Great basses. I have a beautiful ‘BB1024 Tobacco Brown Sunburst’ for sale at the moment if anyone is interested. It needs a good home. Check out the ad here...

I have not performed in a long time. But when I did, I did not appreciate the travel and ‘lugging’ either. But that said, I have had worst jobs that involve these. This is what I used to tell myself when loading in/out of shows and such. It makes the whole thing feel like a breeze. Beautiful venues and people make it worth it also 🙂

Hello. Like new condition. One of two that I have for sale. A useful tool for practice and/or live setup. Includes original boxing with accessories. UK P&P included. No trades. Weight is 1.1lbs. Price based on previous reverb posts. Thanks. Here is my feedback page… PLEASE NOTE: includes a usa power supply [as pictured]. This means that you will need a usa to uk plug adapter to use it. These can be purchased cheap, so not an issue.

Last minute pull outs [ooh, matron!]

Thanks fleabag. Can it be a hot chocolate though? [I don't like horlicks] 😄 -
Yes. ‘Core’ is a great album. That whole grunge era in general. You will be surprised what basslines you can find from it. I never paid attention to robert deleo’s basslines until I heard the mtv unplugged version of ‘plush’. A great performance. His runs are well placed and tasteful; offering enough variation but without taking all the attention. Shame about Scott Weiland.

Always a shame when someone pulls out of a purchase last minute. Especially when it is looking to go to a good home which is important to me. We have all had them I’m sure. Oh well. Sometimes it is just not meant to be. Bass on!

Nice! I just know John and his sons as good people. All the best with the Jaydee. Lovely looking basses!

‘Give Me the Night’ album is the one for me! ‘Give Me the Night’ and ‘Love X Love’ are stand out tracks. Quincy Jones was a good choice for producer.
