I've used NBR pipe lagging before, it's a bit firmer than some of the grey PE foam lagging. You will get it in a hardware shop like B&Q. Hamster

I think Warwicks sound ok for most applications, but I just don't get on with the body shapes. Hamster

For all the charges - import, VAT and handling etc, if you add 22% to the final shipped total that will give you a good idea of the in your hands cost. Hamster

Sounds like a nice project. I would strongly advise to keep to 36" or less scale length. A 38" scale might give you real tendonitis problems unless you have really massive hands and long fingers. Hamster

Don't test the DC resistance without disconnecting them or you'll get a false reading. Hamster
