The impedance will drop down to 4 Ohms in parallel and up to 16 Ohms in series. The wattage is best described, to simplify things, as being the lower of the two values to be safe. Or to put it another way, I wouldn't want to throw a full 600W signal at a 250W rated speaker for too long. Though in reality this (a constant 600W signal) rarely happens.

Which in Focusrite terms is insanely good. Even my humble laptop has been able to attain the advertised low latency figures below 2ms..

I was listening to BIMM's own Spotify list for bass which has some nice tunes on it and thought this one could do with a bump! This is a collaborative list, so BassChatters can add their own favourite bass lines too! -
Absolutely ace and if I were to add some 'further reading' that is absolutely relevant to us bassists: Aimee Nolte and Rick Beato are superb educators that cover everything from really simple musical techniques (I think the cool kids call them 'hacks') to an impressive display of full on mind melting theory. All wrapped up in a very watchable and engaging delivery.

I think if you are excessively grinding metal against metal then I can imagine that you could wear frets down. I use string bending a lot for expression but have never required a refret on any of my instruments in all my 25 odd years of playing. It's all in LH technique I feel.

I was due to interview Jack Bruce. I had his home address and meeting details all set up, but the day before we received notification that the interview wasn't to go ahead. Of course, none of us knew what was to happen relatively soon after. Would have been an incredible interview for sure.

Yes, I feel like I am 100 years old. I sometimes wonder if in my universe time is moving faster. It only feels like yesterday I had ten posts; I'm old and grey, 100 seemed to arrive in no time at all and typing 80,000 posts a year happened in a blink of an eye. ha ha!
Yes I will sign anything.. probably how I ended up in this mess in the first place lol...
