Total Watts

1. Yes, indeed, thank you, Captain, they're the best I've played and I'll be very sad to see them go. I'd hoped they'd be the last cabs I'd ever buy...again. I'm hoping I'll be able to lift the new-ish, 12.5kg VDK 110MNT safely, although strictly speaking my limit's now just 10kg, so most likely Barefaced or GR Bass Aero Tech for any kind of volume. I've not seen any reviews or videos of the VDK 110MNT and would be interested to know if anyone's played one. In stock at Bass Direct, which I hope to stop by next week.
2. 1200 watts of delicious, handmade, bassy goodness: the powerful Vanderkley neolite 210MNT and 112MNT. 600 watts apiece, supremely well-built and finished, with an impeccably smooth, warm, deep, clear and detailed sound. Bought new in 2018 and used largely at home due to a degenerative spinal condition that’s disappointingly compelling their sale, these are very much as new, save for some tiny handle scuffs and slight amp indentations on the 210MNT and storage creasing to the covers, all shown. New, with covers, from Bass Direct, the 210 is currently £819 and the 112, £769; £1584 in total. I’m asking just £1100 for both, a saving of almost £500; alternatively, £600 for the 210 and £550 for the 112, individually. I’m open to sensible offers and would prefer collection, from Farnham, in Surrey. [SOLD TOGETHER FOR £1000] Thank you for looking; any questions, please don’t hesitate. 210MNT neolite 2×10” Neodymium drivers + tweeter 600 Watts continuous power handling 8 Ohm 45Hz-16kHz 100dB 1W@1m 50cmH x 50cmW x 41cmD 17kg 112MNT neolite 1x12” Neodymium driver + tweeter 600 Watts continuous power handling 8 Ohm 40Hz-16kHz 99dB 1W@1m 42cmH x 51cmW x 41cmD 16kg
3. Dear Bergantino owners I'm looking to returning to playing regularly after a couple of years, having sold my previous (Mesa Subway) cabs. My Fender MIA Deluxe Jazz with Lollar pickups and Mesa D800 head sound good with a Barefaced Big Twin, but I'd like to give myself a comparable choice and am sufficiently old-fashioned (and risk averse) to want to try before I buy. Having played cabs from Aguilar, TKS, Mesa, Trickfish, Greenboy, Markbass and others, I've narrowed it down to BF and Bergantino, for a clear, precise, articulate sound across the register and my preferred cab footprint. I understand Vanderkley cabs are highly regarded, but their finish isn't to my taste. I'm after a vertically-orientated 212, or a pair of vertical or compact 112s. Having been impressed by a Bergantino CN212 and pair of HD112s a couple of years ago with the D800, I'm keen to try the new HDN212 and Reference 112 cabs, this time with a Forte or B|Amp (I couldn't afford the latter amp at the time, which was pre-Forte.) This is proving a tricky business, due to the absence of a Bergantino retailer in the UK and none, it seems, in sight. Is there anyone out there within striking distance of Surrey who owns a Forte or B|Amp and an HDN212 or Reference 112 cabs, who'd be kind enough to allow a well-behaved, house-trained stranger round to try them? Yours in hope. Nic
4. Mesa Boogie’s exceptional Subway Ultra-Lite 112 & 115 compact bass cabinets, handmade in California. 800W in total (400W & 8ohms each), with custom neodymium speakers and high frequency horns, with premium attenuators, providing a powerful and uncompromising full tonal range, from deep, warm, punchy lows, through a strong, articulate midrange to clear, crisp highs. Stunning looks and outstanding build quality, with Aviation style bracing, tuned front tri-ports, black bronco vinyl, black metal grille, lexan corners and recessed, flip-out metal handles. Each cab is a class leader, consistently enjoying 5 star reviews. At 400W, either is a great cab on its own and the 112 can also be played vertically (with the logo plates moved!) if space is at a premium. The 112 measures 15.25”H x 19.25”W x 18.25”D and weighs only 15kg. The 115 is just 19.25"H x 19.25”W x 18.25"D and 17kg. Both come with covers and their original packaging is also available. For full technical specifications, see: http://www.mesaboogie.com/cabinets--simulators/bass-cabinets/subway-series/index.html Bought less than two years ago for a function band that parted company soon after, the cabs have only been gigged a few times and are as new. Selling with great regret, as they're fabulous cabs, but I'm not gigging at the moment, they’re much too good and valuable to sit idle any longer and funds are needed elsewhere. I’d prefer to sell them as a pair, asking £1395, a saving of almost £400 on their new price of £1794. Otherwise, individually, asking £825 for the 115 (£995 new) and £625 for the 112 (£799 new). Reasonable offers considered. I live near Farnham, Surrey, where serious prospective purchasers are welcome to come and try them for size (weight and sound, etc.), refreshments provided. Happy to discuss delivery and to package and liaise with the buyer's courier.
5. Sold for £250 to Alan (Hamfist), with thanks and with whom it was a pleasure to deal.
6. Apologies for not replying to the open enquiries, but the bass is now on hold, following a private message.
7. SOLD FOR £250 (which seems to be the going rate for these). Gorgeous, rare, Japanese Tune Bass Maniac, in natural wood with gloss finish. An ergonomic masterpiece that sounds warm and bright and is a delight to play; exceptionally light (3.27kg), exquisitely contoured, wonderfully balanced, with a superfast, slim neck and brass nut. Owned from new, bought in the late 1980s and beautifully upgraded in recent years by renowned Surrey luthier, Joe White. New pickups, powerful and versatile passive electronics that mimic an active circuit, hardware stripped back to a brushed steel finish, knurled chrome knobs and a heavy duty jack input. A few buckle marks in the lacquer on the back, some scratches on the top of one of the knobs and slight wear to the logo on the body, but otherwise in excellent condition. Comes with a flight case that has a few external knocks, a funky blue gig bag, a fabulous hairy animal strap with fitted straplocks and a set of Schaller Straplocks in satin chrome should you wish to use another strap. Selling with great regret, but funds are needed elsewhere. £275 ono for a quick sale.
8. Hello Is the HD210 still available? Thank you. Nic
9. Yes, well spotted, thank you. I'd forgotten to include that on the updated ad. Collection from Frensham, near Farnham, in Surrey.
