  1. I never really liked the white stripes, but I liked the album he did afterwards. But this I like, will dig more out, and also the first use of a theramin in a rock track for a while which has to be a good thing!
  2. I think there probably appears to be a difference in opinion between companies that make things and get ripped off, and companies that dont or are just admin sorts. It is really galling to see something you put effort into making being just taken and sold by other people. And no, it is never a compliment to see something you did being ripped off by other people.
  3. Yes, they are japanese so they put the words the other way round
  4. Fender Special Run obviously!
  5. Your name -> Profile then on your page, edit profile and I guess edit signature if that is what you mean by your gear listing? Obviously it depends on what device you are doing it with
  6. Mine aren't fingerless, they are most definitely fingerfull!
  7. Indeed - my polytune works fine with all my 5s.
  8. He would have wanted Elton John dead too? I guess thats fair!
  9. I beleive he toured as a hologram at some point didn't he?
  10. All prices are silly now, and once things get in the collectable time then they are just bought because if you hold onto it for a few years, you can double your money, they have ceased to actually be instruments, and are just assets, like a wine or a painting, they are probably not going to be played.
  11. You did or they did?
  12. I regularly do it, I guess you just need to try harder.
  13. I have black silk gloves I use when it is cold and I am outside, they stop it from hurting.
  14. Not really that much of an issue if you are using slow attack sounds, or have a dry signal too. Obviously if you wanted to use synth lead sounds on the lowest strings with no bass content, it would be a lot trickier (although you can then just play ahead of the beat)
  15. Sounds great, certainly no volume issue there, although don't know why they can't run a cable out the window
  16. I'm certainly happy to have a good gig, but some gigs are much better than others. Yesterdays was such. last week, less so.
  17. Indeed, but then you wouldn't appreciate it when it happens!
  18. Thats weird, I haven't done any and I went through a phase of a lot.
  19. A somerset birthday party in a beautiful setting (next to a wedding venue). Lovely people, full dance floor all night, paid well and home before one. I see a pattern!
  20. I have had a bass die on me, wireless go flat and a couple of leads die. I haven't had an amp fail. if the amp failed, I would go straight to the PA, so not worried about a spare amp, it wouldn't be ideal, but it would work. I always keep a spare jack lead beside me in case of wireless failure, although since the first time it never happened again and I have lent it to the guitarist who's leads have failed a few times, and he never has a spare of anything. I normally have a spare bass in case, and I have enough spare leads of most types for most eventualities, and a 9v and AA batteries.
  21. I voted for the BAM200, purely because I have one, and I know it would do the job.
  22. Where's the kettle?
  23. The sound isn't great, but it is enough to help with what it is I want to know. Normally it is something I did wrong, I remember there was something but can't remember what it was!
  24. I record all the practices in case I need to remember something that happened!
  25. Excellent, will keep this in mind next time I adjust the truss rod on mine (which I have done without trouble so far!)
