1. I think it is down to people having no money but then again I have seen basses on here between £1500 and £3000 sell on here quickly maybe the "older" generation that seem to buy them have plenty of dosh kicking about lol. I think it is a struggle to sell anything in the £300-£500 price bracket on BC at present and I don't know why as there are some good bargains on here I have never had much luck selling bass guitars on BC depite putting the basses up for sale for the price I paid or slightly less and have normally made sales through gumtree or ebay which is a shame as it is great to deal within the BC community

 5.
That is a bargain! I would say if it ain't broke, don't fix it... modding is a slippery slope! Welcome to the forum, btw.
This but the best mod you can do to any bass IMO is fit a decent set of straplocks

 9. Hi Guys just ordered a new TC head and cab I have only used combo amps before so this question may be silly but for my new rig is it a speakon to speakon lead I need to connect the amp to the cab? cheers in advance
 10. I have been experimenting with strings I have tried lots of sets of cheap strings with varying results some good and some really awful I have also tried brands like Ernie Ball which I liked and D'addaio nickels which I really hated I am using good old Rotosounds at present and love the sound I get from them I am not so keen on the feel of them but I will soon get used to it also I tried Picato strings and thought they were fantastic but they have gone up over a fiver a pack in recent months. I think I am going to try Warwick red label strings next time I buy some so I think that strings really make a huge difference to a bass and that they are also a really personal thing
