    Well, as I’m sure you know you can make any compressor with infinity ratio act like a limiter. I tend to find in most respects when set up correctly they all sound the same, except for differences like noise, footprint and other settings to play with. I actually find the Boss LMB3 a great limiter, and the enhancer has a place in some applications, like livening up a woolly sounding house amp at certain venues. With enough tweaking for a given instrument I’ve found the limiters in my Roland and Zoom units to be excellent.

    I use a limiter and it makes a huge difference. It doesn’t change the sound or dynamics but it prevents any big spikes and gives my bass a definitive ‘level’ which I can be sure will sit in the mix consistently. Especially on the bass notes, I say it makes more of a ‘click’ than a ‘boom’. It also means when I dig in the bass growls up to that ‘wall’ as opposed to making everything else seem quiet. Essential imo!

    Hi all I've had this 1U power amp for ages. It's a great amp and very loud. I used it on stage at the Bass Bash in 2015(I think) to power two SWR cabs and it sounded fantastic. I know nothing about it - or even where I got it from! Let me know if you have any questions that I might be able to answer - although what you see is what you get, really. I didn't find it coloured my sound at all (I play into a pre-amp that feeds the power amp) and I liked how light and portable it is (some 1U amps are REALLY deep) As I say I've used it for years without any problem but I haven't used it now for maybe a year, and selling strictly as-is! There is a slight 'rash' to the left of the power switch but no dents or damage. £150 delivered or pick up in York Cheers ped Excuse the poor pics, I'll get some clearer ones soon

    Yes, not sure of the exact details but it's kind of an extra sound I suppose you could say! There are many useful sounds in it, including an FX25 filter sound.

    Reduced to £50 posted for a BC member Clone of a DOD FX25 pedal made by @paul_5 Paul modified it to run on battery power for me but I'm sure it can be changed back to run on a power supply if required. I'm pretty sure I paid £60 (correct me of I'm wrong Paul!) so passing it on at the same price. I'm in York if you'd like to come and try/collect it. Cheers ped
