  1. I’d also add that having been on the forum since day one, there’s been no discernible change and we’ve had this topic now and then, it always goes in cycles. Finally, another mention for the report button. Did you report any of it?
  2. I think you’ll find we’re well known for being a very open and friendly forum. Naturally things get heated now and then but usually during the holidays when people are stressed. At the end of the day, be the change you want to see. More often than not any ‘hostility’ is closed down by sensible members. Also, there’s a report button.
  3. My pleasure chaps
  4. Do you play left handed too David?!
  5. Well this is nice
  6. If you’re looking at this thinking “what the hell” believe me, if you have one you’ll use it all the time. They sound massive and are lovely to play. Awesome fun!
  7. Probably because they checked if it was 'in stock' and it was, sort of, on the Mir Space Station
  8. Yeah he doesn’t ever reply. Don’t know why he gives an email address....
  9. I recently was given a Vovox cable and although sceptical at first (its about £100!) I noticed a clear difference using it. I think they have a lifetime warranty too. But yeah if you’re paying I expect OBBMs cables to be the best VFM
  10. You should get more involved in the forum Hugh
  11. Agree totally.
  12. I’m thinking about a Teenage Engineering OP-Z
  13. I tend to use YouTube, type in the BPM and 'drum groove' there are loads.
  14. More info here
  15. If I was dealing with an online retailer I’d obviously agree that in stock and the delivery date mean it’s not going to be with me any time soon. However as they have a physical shop I thought I could pick up an item that’s ‘in stock’ instead of having it delivered. Wrong. It’s not in stock at the shop. To me, that means they need to clarify what they mean. Good examole is Argos. If an item is in stock it says so, otherwise it says which store it’s at or whether it’s just online. If it’s not in stock and requires ordering from their supplier it says not in stock because as far as the buyer is concerned, it isn’t.
  16. Or joking
  17. Yes maybe, thanks.
  18. Just like an Uber driver having to buy a Prius 😂
  19. I always sell any P or J bass for two reasons. One, the bolt on beck joint just feels and looks a bit agricultural. Two, the scratch plate makes the bass feel a bit plasticy. So yeah. Cheers
  20. Just because a producer is narrow minded and would rather I use a P bass so they can go and smoke a joint doesn’t mean I’m going to pander to them!!
  21. Gear4music only have one shop but it’s like an afterthought and they expect you to buy everything online! Anyway I’m done with them. Sod ‘em.
  22. I was going to phone but then I noticed that some items say ‘available to order’ so thought that ‘in stock’ meant that it didn’t need ordering and was in fact in stock. So I wonder what ‘available to order’ means...
  23. When there’s a physical shop I think saying the item is in stock is misleading. It should say ‘available to order’ - which it does say on lots of items. In stock is basically meaningless!
  24. Yeah it is. Sweden. It’s all in the first post?!
  25. That’s because they aren’t
