  1. Thanks, yes but ideally I want to use the battery connector I've already made so just need it to hold the battery. Also metal preferred
  2. As you might know I ended up selling the pedal. In the end I found the 'attack' setting a little slow even at the fastest setting, meaning I wasn't able to use the pedal very well for limiting, which is my main use for a comp. I have since bought an MXR M87 compressor and early impressions are very positive. It works better as a limiter and the noise is, I think, less than the FEA although I don't have them see by side to compare. I think the MXR will work better for me overall and better suits my 'style' of playing, on balance.
  3. I bought a pedal from Tiernan; it arrived quickly and was exactly as described. Great comms throughout. Cheers!
  4. a 9V battery holder (which holds the battery flat as opposed to on it's side They can be had for 49p online if you buy a million, or £5 on ebay!! Cheers ped

    Zoom L-12

Cheers yes it looks just the ticket for me especially having several headphone outputs. I like that the L12 has a compressor but thinking about it I reckon the L8 might be enough for me and I can use a comp pedal instead. And it takes batteries which is quite handy. Reminds me of the olden days when me and my friends used to have a Zoom MRS4 which we’d share between us (sometimes by post) to put down our individual track then post onwards to the next person.
  6. That looks amazing for £90!!
  7. I’m afraid you must now upload photos of yourself reacting to things
  8. Looks like the cops are doing F all about this so far so he might as well start murdering people
  9. With strings and case and £50 cash in the case
  10. I think if anyone opens the parcel they’ll see it’s pink and quickly send it on
  11. Bought a pedal from AJ, posted next day (I paid on Sunday), arrived the day after that! What more could you want! Thanks!
  12. Ah Christ...
  13. I put your last post into the 'Wanted' forum. Thanks
  14. To be fair @Rich does suffer from a very crumbly scalp

  17. Yeah I hope so. Better than being stuck in a van or something. It’ll all be worth it, you got this
  18. Any news @Ricky Rioli? I don’t want to rub it in but I’ve been playing my SB1 today (decided today felt like a P day) learning some George Porter .Jr baselines 😁
  19. Always one of my favourite albums when growing up (along with Kamakiriad by Donald Fagen) George Porter Jr on bass mostly, also Tony Hall. Great New Orleans vibe - quite different from anything else he did (mostly big band stuff) You're welcome! Click top right to hear other tracks from the album. All winners!
  20. Thanks, yes I had a look inside - two big PCBs stacked together covered with bits and bobs! I like the sound of the filter side, but as it sounds like a band pass (which I prefer for the quack) it needs dry below it too. The octave/synth side is great actually, and works fine currently. I've never been a huge fan of octaves but this one sounds really musical and the synth/fuzz that you can add in gives it a bit of a unique bite. I've downloaded your C4 patches and will give those a try later!
  21. OK it's on it's way to Meridian tomorrow. They have very kindly offered to fix it free of charge. Fingers crossed!! It's certainly a nice pedal to look at!
  22. I think they slimmed down the ‘waist’ a bit comparing the two online
  23. Always wanted to try one. My SB1 says hello!! Unusual to see an early sB2 with the crackle paint
  24. I’ve literally never seen a tortoise that colour
