  1. That I do not know (durability of paint) but I do know I had a MidWestern previously in TV yellow that was a couple of years old (I bought it used) and there were no scratches or worn paint patches (couple of minor playing dings but that doesn't count)
  2. That only came in the rarely-seen Red or Blue
  3. I quote: 300W into 8 ohms, 550W into 4 ohms, 750W into 2 ohms
  4. Tweeters pre-installed https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144255908074?hash=item21965278ea:g:Vo4AAOSwAUZhcHY2
  5. Adam bought some Mustang bass strings and all was good. Enjoy!
  6. Hi there, afraid not but the detailed dimension/specs in the first post should hopefully help
  7. There's a thread on TalkBass where someone measured the weight of Fender standard bass tuners from his AVRI Precision and compared with theHipshot Ultralite lookalikes. The Fenders weighed 15.6 ounces (doh, not grams!) and the Hipshots ounces for a net saving of approximately 8 ounces. So there's a saving of approximately half a pound there. I have a lovely 2006 CIJ Mustang for sale on the forum but its 7.9 pounds, so even with the Hipshots wouldn't meet your criterion for sub 7 pounds unfortunately https://www.talkbass.com/threads/weight-savings-of-lighter-tuners-in-pictures.771078/
  8. 🙄 this one is staying Jack, the lightest bass I have ever owned and beautifully put together. PLus its orange. Orange. And competition stripes. And its orange 🤣
  9. Just weighed it. 6.9 pounds, fab. Our next gig is two 45-60 minute sets so this will be perfect for my back
  10. Very cool rig and I am glad to have helped provide one element!
  11. This is all boxed up in our sitting room and needs to be moved on so I would entertain sensible offers
  12. I have two good stalls tickets (row 10, block H) for the Lexicon of Love 40th anniversary gig at RAH on Tuesday 23rd June. Bought at request of Mrs C who subsequently found she was double booked .... Tickets come in email format with QR codes. I would send to the buyer and have been assured by the Box Office that there are no ID checks (I tried to return tickets and they said "Unfortunately we would not be able to offer a refund or credit note for this booking, as the tickets are sold on a non-refundable basis and this performance is not currently sold out. As this is not an I.D. checked performance, you are welcome to pass the tickets on to someone else who may be able to use them") I paid £160 but would take half that.
  13. I have this awful feeling that the seller is really being earnest - rather than being a chancer - and thinks his "precious" is precisely that. Rather than a butchered 'vintage' bass that has lost any vestige of what makes a bass vintage and therefore desirable.
  14. "Striking looks" As in you could use it as an axe in a gang fight
  15. (Bass apparently played by Ricky Reed, of whom I am blissfully ignorant)
  16. I bought a One Control Sonic Silver Peg from Paul and all was good, despite the best efforts of couriers! Thanks Paul 😀
  17. My old voodoo swamp blues band Rattlin Bone from about 2011 (me on upright). Clown/beat boxer and up to 15 piece band with brass
  18. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294954058610?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=2XbF-SxnQ_O&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=eqlPJw_SSty&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  19. Possible p/x (money your way) for a cloth-grilled small footprint Barefaced cab (SC/Two10S) for my 2nd rig, to match with my Ampeg PF500 (Yes, I know I recently sold a SC, albeit metal grilled, but logic has never been my strong point regarding bass gear)
