2. Welcome back!!!
3. Pretty much a good read I thought - this thread that is. I have to agree that the sound engineer spotted a problem, just got the cause wrong. The main thing is that it's sorted.

Hi

Hi and welcome
10. Welcome
11. Start with this: http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/brands/Trace_...1392/p6748.aspx and add a decent head. That should do the trick.
12. Hey Clarky, how much did you pay for the 450 Classic?
13.
I hate to be a downer on the TC love but their stuff just isn't working for me. Just doesn't have the clarity and 'sparkle' I want - shame as I really, really wanted to like this setup There may well be an RH450 + RS212 + RS210 stack up for sale very soon. . .
Hey Molan, I understand what you are saying as the TC amps are opposite to the Markbass 'super fast/hi'fi' presentation, which is why I have kept my MB gear. However, the MB gear I have is not getting any use as I really do like the thicker and (slightly) more old school presentation I get with the RH450. As always, it really is a case that people need to try these things before buying, although this will never really give you a view of how they behave in a gig situation.
14. Your best bet is to get a decent cab and run this with your Berhinger and, when funds permit, get a better head. You won't get much new for £400 with power and decent quality. And for £300 - £400 I would look for a second hand cab 'in as new' condition from this forum - you should pick up something that will last you many years
15. Welcome aboard
16. For sale price now added - £550 including cover.
17. That's the problem with ltd edition gear, if you want something they don't turn up too often and, when they do, people tend to hold out for a premium.
18. I have been bowled over by the clarity and punch of my Bergantino HT112/EX112 combination. I doubt if it will fo the low end as well as you Mesa although playing 4 stringers that has never bothered me as the cabs go down to 40hz easily. Also, they are so easy to cart around. For clarity of sound these Bergs are hard to beat so you ought to at least try them.
19.
Further to my earlier post, I found a stand for the 51RI & have also assembled a further P-bass mainly from 70s parts
Nice. I was thinking of getting the S/H CS '55 P Bass in Bass Direct.....
20. Great way to fine tune your sound
21. Welcome aboard. I have an RH450, great amp. Not sure of the value of your trace
22. Welcome aboard
23.
Amazing amps, IMO. If you look at the price point of the cabs, they are seriously good. There are some comparison vids to a Berg cabinet and there isn't much in it. Huge price difference though. I was pleasantly surprised with the TC bass line. I went in to test very sceptical, and left the store planning to sell my old setup.
+1 - I love my RH450 head through my Bergantino cabs
24. It really depends on the amp/speaker combination. A friend of mine has giged with his Trace Elliott 4x10 250 watt combo for 20 years and has no problems even at reasonably large bars/clubs.
25. Welcome
