Maybe go to do it early, then by the time you've switched the looper you'll be on time ? A lot of looper guys like Steve Lawson and Michael Manring, and myself when I was doing a lot last year, don't do what you're trying to achieve. If they use 'percussive effects', then they create them themselves using their bass, so it's part of the loop, not outside of it. Some loopers can be connected using midi to drum machines, particularly the Boss ones.

It's just practice.

I like the fact that my 16 year old niece recently bought some blue tooth speakers that she connects her device to. It sounds surprisingly good.

I don't see how you can listen, as opposed to hear music unless it's through headphones or speakers. A phone is better, but even then.

Assuming that you do, I know a lot of people don't, which I find odd if you're a musician, but anyway . I grew up listening on my parents hifi. Now, if I'm home then I tend to sit and listen off my macbook via my monitors. If I'm out then it's through headphones. I saw this picture on Facebook a day or two ago, which made me smile. [attachment=213982:10400113_10156629528145707_5481991627852461294_n.png] I know back in the 60s music, especially Motown, was mixed so it would sound 'good' on a transistor radio's speaker. In the 80s it was mixed so it would sound good on the little headphones that accompanied Walkmen. People nowadays seem to listen via the pin-head sized speakers on their iPads. This I find totally baffling.

Both of the Fenders I've owned were American, a US standard 5 string jazz, and a 5 string Marcus Miller. Both had huge, and badly cut (unsquare) neck pockets. Some scratch plate screws were put in at an angle, so the heads protruded. I'd definitely want to see before buying.

Just sold a Protec Contego gig bag to Tony. A very easy and straightforward transaction, highly recommended.

It'd just be a 'generic' set up at best. Buying from a shop like the gallery for instance, it'd be setup to how exactly you wanted it.

If the gauge of flats you want are the same as your current strings, why not hold up one of your strings against the tuning peg thing, and see if it would fit through the slot ?
