  1. Indeed! It was recommended reading as an undergraduate. It's so good I appear to have bought it twice.
  2. They sound like a right bunch of pirates.
  3. It wouldn't open on my phone either. I had to download it on my MacBook.
  4. Thank you. It wants me to become a member and download an app though.
  5. Does anyone have a transcription of Stuart Zender’s bass line for this that they can share, please? Standard notation preferred, please. I struggle to get my head around TAB. Thank you.
  6. Judging by social media and the radio station I was listening to the rerun on yesterday, the anniversary brought back a lot of very happy memories for a great many people. Which is fantastic, in my opinion.
  7. They were in the middle of a very long series of gigs at Wembley Arena. They had their road crew carry the gear across the car park.
  8. I've enjoyed listening to the rerun on the radio. I was 6 at the time, I do remember watching it though. Highlights so far are The Who, Simple Minds, Bowie, Ultravox, U2 and Sting with Branford Marsalis.
  9. I would be very interested if you could ship it.
  10. My brother’s friend paid several thousand pounds for two tickets.
  11. It seems a bit silly. Surely, if you buy it and return it, then it becomes b-stock? You would probably also have to pay for the return shipping.
  12. They've surely exhausted pillaging the complete canon of Messrs Lennon and McCartney by now?
  13. From my experience as a music lecturer. It’s the events this weekend in Birmingham that most young musicians will be watching. Oasis don't seem to figure highly in my students’ musical influences.
  14. One small mercy. At least there's no talk of a new album.
  15. My thoughts on Rod Stewart’s Glastonbury set. For me, it started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle, and the less said about the end, the better. But, apart from that, excellent.
  16. I commuted three or four times a week from Birmingham to uni in London for three years, with my bass in a gig bag and assorted other stuff. I've even traveled several times with a double bass. I've honestly, never had an issue.
  17. Bump. These were cut nice and long to allow them to be fitted on a Dingwall bass. They should therefore, fit on any other bass.

  19. This isn't just a bass, it's a work of art. I don't think Enrico builds instruments anymore. So, you're unlikely to find another one of these anytime soon. Good luck with the sale.
  20. I do wonder whether Darkglass gear is going out of fashion.
  21. Just to confirm, this is the latest model. It's also an absolute bargain.
  22. From Bass Direct’s website. Apologies for it being in imperial.
