1.
Exactly what I have done now. The monitor didn't give enough clearance in the middle shelf. Trouble is, I've have a big hole to fill now. Something impressive looking with flashing lights... doesn't have to function!! Or I could have a couple of lava lamps!!!
Yeah that's what i would have suggested. Also, if you're using cubase, i've found that a second monitor can be INCREDIBLY handy. Looking good though, i'm rather envious!
 2. I had an old jay turser MM copy back in the day which came with a 2+2 headstock config, i had to switch two of the tuners and turn one (the E string) upside down to get it to have the 3+1 headstock config of a normal musicman, i never did get the hang of the E string going the wrong way!
 3.
It's supposed to counter-act head-dive...
How does that work then? Oh and nice bass there, i have to say, that and the new epi thunderbird pros are really the only thunderbirds i like. I love the maple wings and trans finish, gorgeous
 4. Haha, you guys should have seen what was going on under the scratchplate on my old reggie jazz, practically hollow!
 5. I was just thinking, my frankenSUB isn't finished and won't be in time for the bash, so i thought i'd bring my corvette $$ and my SUB bass again, and if simon brings his stingray we can A/B them haha
 6.
Ah right. Could I get away with ordering a Guinness? And how about some crisps or chicken legs, basic party food lol. Zach
I'll bear all that stuff in mind ^^^ And maybe a friendly basschatter might be kind enough to buy you one
 7. well cocktail sausages are a given
 8. wow, that's a stunner And i wouldn't want to have to wire those controls!!
 9.
£4 a piece sounds fair. I can squeeze my dad for that, seeing as I blew all my cash on various other things. Will the bar be open? Just wondering if I would be able to buy a pint. Of coke, obviously. Zach
Aye, bar shall be open Any requests regarding food?
 10.
well, as OldGit of this this parish will tell you, my Jazz has some cosmetic flaws too. Not visible from front though. We will have to wear name badges or somesuch as I, for one, wont know who anyone actually is.
Aye, i was planning on doing that, i'll have to get round to it some time this week. If there's anything else anybody else wants doing preparation-wise, just give me a shout. I'll probably sort some food out too. Oh and as for entry, i think £4 a head sounds fair? That way we can make sure everyone pays the same, and if there's any left over, i'll donate it to basschat or a charity.
 11.
Front is Neck, and Rear is Bridge, unless there's some sort of Metric-Imperial conversion going on with pickup naming now too!
What he said!

 19.
My Stingray has one Humbucking pick up bass wood body with maple and rosewood neck and fingerboard - Velvet smooth Go figure!
Basswood body? Either ash or alder depending on the year/finish Bongo = basswood though
 20. I tried a spear singlecut, it did feel a little lumpy in the body, but it also played very nicely and had a huge growly sound, very nice for the price!
apart from maybe the shuker singlecut, i dont like singlecuts.
Yes, but you have to say that
