1.
Lovely! Looks great without the power station floor pickguard they shipped with!
Yup - agreed! You will also notice my other (heavily modified) SUB in the background with the abalone (i think) pickguard. Looks much better that way.
2. Haha, cheers! She's quite a looker, given that it's just all black!
3. I bought it from somebody on here, however it's a standard stingray pickguard, you can get them from loads of places. I believe strings and things are the UK importer for official EBMM stuff though.
4. Cheers! It's a nice player. I missed having one of these, they've got a simple beauty to them I think.
5. just got this, all black, the fretboard is so dark it almost looks like ebony too
6. I actually got this on saturday, but I didn't get the new pickguard until today, so I took some photos. Thought I would treat myself and try to get playing a little more again. It's a tidy little number I reckon please excuse the photo quality
7. Bought a pickguard from Jez, exactly as described, arrived promptly and was a nice easy transaction from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. Thanks Jez!
8. Collected a bass from Martyn today, the bass was as described and he even let me have a little play on the rest of his collection (which I'm now very jealous of!). I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again cheers!
9. This, but only because nobody would ever buy it from me! It's a proper heap, but it sounds and plays alright!
10. Played my first proper gig in years on wednesday night (you might notice i've been absent from these parts for a good while now), it was with some folk I've been jamming and playing open mics with a little recently. Last week, the singer asked me if I could play in a gig she had lined up, and could I learn a 45 minute set? I said yes, not realised what I'd gotten myself into - a week isn't long enough to properly learn a 45 minute set! We had three short practices, none of which the full band was present for and was properly ropey, but somehow, it all came together on the night. We messed up in a few places, but I don't think many people noticed, and we had a really good reception - probably the best gig I ever played! We've decided to keep at it and get some more gigs, and I've got more motivation to play and will be buying a new bass tomorrow, so good stuff all round! couple of photos
11.
Oops found it ..... http://basschat.co.u...30#entry2273857
I'm pretty sure the nut width is the same on all of them except for the old SUB sterling, which had the same nut width as a sterling, obviously...
12. I have a Keen Electronics KE-3Ba preamp, 3 band 9v onboard preamp, four pots, presumably vol, blend and then the other two are the EQ, one of which is stacked + mid switch. I've never used it, but the previous owner assured me that it was working. I'm after about £50 for it, as that's what I paid I can get photos if need be
13. Bit late here, but better late than never! Yeah, it's a Bongo preamp, looks like a pretty standard op amp based unit to me, pretty sure most are, just designed slightly differently. Anyway, I never managed to get that preamp working, need to send it to a guitar tech at some point and get it done really. I've just been playing it with the pickup wired straight to output. Works/sounds fine.
14. I think I've seen a couple over on the EBMM forum, but yeah, pretty rare. Any EBMM bass with a roasted neck is pretty rare in fairness! None of the newer non-roasted necks have figuring like that either, beautiful.
15. Not to piss on your bonfire, but I'm pretty sure any of their basses could be custom ordered with a roasted neck ( I could be wrong). Very nice bass though.
16. I'd be tempted to have it off you in a few weeks, depending on if/when i manage to pass my driving test and buy a car!
17. I used to have one of these, awesome basses! Sounds and plays just like a stingray. Stick a nice pickguard on there and maybe sand the neck down and it would be larvley! Bargain of a bass! Good luck with the sale buddy!

22. I sold Emils my Warwick Streamer, payment was made when he said it would be and the transaction was extremely easy. Thanks for hassle-free deal.
