itsmedunc replied to alyctes's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
Was quite tempted with this but I remembered how heavy my old one was. Great basses but back breakers... -

Bit of a feeler. I'm not at home for a few days so can't put pics up yet or post! A very loud 500w lightweight head that needs very little introduction on here. Made in Italy, in very good condition and has been well looked after. Just seeing if there's any interest out there before I get back home. Can post but would rather you arranged your own courier. Collection welcome. Might be able to meet up.

Now £300 or £325 insured deliverey to UK. A very good sounding, loud 500w lightweight head, that needs little introduction on here. Made in Italy, in good condition and has been well looked after. No hissing or scratchy pots. Has some scratching on the top and sides but the pics make them look far worse than they actually are. It has no rubberfeet, velcro has been added. May trade. Try me... Collection welcome. Might be able to meet up.
Just picked one of these up myself recently. Cracking bass - would give any Fender a serious run for its money. GLWTS
I sold my USA Highway One when I got mine. The necks on these are lovely. Seriously better than the H1. Stock pickups are nice too...

Nice cheap P bass. Black with white plate. Good condition apart from a tiny chip at the butt of the body. Plays well. I've no hard case to ship, so it it will be sent uninsured at your risk. Would prefer to ship with neck off so I can pack it better for shipping. Collection from bb22sh or might be able to meet up. Will get photos up ASAP.

Amp vibrating off cab....any cures..?
itsmedunc replied to jonnythenotes's topic in General Discussion
Bumped for 'Itsmedunc' to have a look at...
Thanks for the info, some great solutions. I'll wait until I get it then decide on either the rubber mat or some non slip feet, then put the lead through the cab handle. What could possibly go wrong? -
Lightweight head vibration. Sorbothane?
itsmedunc replied to itsmedunc's topic in General Discussion
Thanks everyone for the advice. The Genz is only 3.75lb according to the spec which is less than half the weight of my TC. Never had any problems with the TC Classic450 but my LM3 sometimes went walkabout. So, it looks like something a bit dense and non slip. I used to know a girl like that! -
Lightweight head vibration. Sorbothane?
itsmedunc replied to itsmedunc's topic in General Discussion
Poundshop Mat might do it as long as it does not block any ventilation slots?
Thanks for that. I've not got it yet so can't see if any vents are underneath. A lot cheaper option than sorbothane! -
Im getting a Genz shuttle 6.0. I'm a little concerned as they are so light it may vibrate off my cab (barefaced midget). Also, the vibration may jiggle the insides of it. Has anyone tried sorbothane sheets/feet or auralex (or anything else) to combat this with good results?
I had one of these, plenty loud and easy to get a good sound. GLWTS
Thanks for that. It's a great sounding head that as you say, is easy to get a good sound with. I use it with a BF midget at 8ohm and it's plenty loud enough for me. -
Great little lightweight head. In good condition and in full working order. Nice tube emulation. It's served me well but I fancy a change.
