Bought Dan's precision pickup, arrived quickly. Top bloke.

Just check and check again that it is straight, a little lateral movement at the heel will equal much more at the headstock.

+1 for the Westfields, I've got a Jazz and my brother has a Precision. Both nice basses.

Now sorted. I applied said lube/cleaner in a vigorous action and whilst doing this my knob got stiffer and then there was a sudden release and now my knob is slack. I am so satisfied. Thanks for all your contributions and keep on truckin.

Defo! I'm trying to live by the five bass rule at the moment, I don't need anymore but there is always something to tempt.

My Bb300 volume knob is stiff to turn. I was wondering what the best remedy is? Its just a standard passive pot. Cheers
