Im sure this has been up here time and time again. But im going to ask anyway! How do greats such as Victor Wooten / Marcus Miller create such great grooves ? I mean they have their own tracklists and no 2 tracks are identical in terms of groove. When you ask them, e.g. interviews its always 'You gotta listen to everything'. I know you can't listen to everything in a week but do you think it works, or even beneficial ? I'd love some feedback on this and your opinions. Share what you want !

Okay i understand the concepts of keys and progressions, individually. What i dont understand is how do you know what key you are by the chord progressions or know what chord progressions work under which key ? Sorry if it sounds very nooby LOl < Help a Maniac

Hi At the momment i am saving up for a high end bass (Music Student) ;D . I was looking at the Marcus Miller Bass (4 String) but that's really a 4 string with active electronics. Then i thought instead of shedding out 900 pounds why not go for the American Deluxe which has the active electronics already in there and different finishes to choose from. My questions are that Worth the money Your experiances 3Band EQ Does it stand out like you can tell when your in Passive or Active ? I've recently started getting into the Jazz kind of genre for bass, have been doing a lot of motown and funk latley. Thing is i don't know what to choose ? I mean its such a big category right ? Also getting the dots for them is driving me Mental ! If anyone can find me the sheets i dont really bother with tabs that would be soo helpful, ALOT Helpful Cheers Guys Fire the suggestions at me xD
