7.
The Human album is absolutely gold. Never heard something as good as that in Death Metal again. Listening to: Some songs I'm recording and I'm really getting tired of them...
which one has crystal mountain, that is great, chuck schuldinner was a great guitarist, the guy out of necrophagist is awesome, I like that very melodic album carcass did I think it influenced the Swedish melodic death bands like skyfire dark tranquility etc
 8. Vintage who make guitars and bass's do them I'm sure I think they are around £200 I just checked google a few online stores selling them well under £200
 9. Timo Kotipelto -Coldness. Finnish melodic power metal (he is the lead vocalist from Stratovarius) his solo albums are pretty awesome
 10.
My goodness ! I feel, like its 1982 all over again. Great thread. Trouble is ,,I wish it was .
me too

Motley Crüe,ratt, wasp, poison,Cinderella, def leppard, great white, dokken,Bon jovi, warrant, megadeath, autograph, Metallica guns n roses , la guns , racer x,Europe plus all the classic 70, bands who did great 80s records like kiss foreigner y&t. Alice cooper Aerosmith. We now have bands inspired by these 80s greats like reckless love, crash diet, hardcore superstar , crazy lixx white widdow etc
 12. Congrats, that is gonna be a real special gig, well done and have an awesome time
 13. Aww c'mon guys I think he only meant it as a bit of light humour
 14.
You should see some violin parts. I often have to count! At least a lot of upper register bass lines are written 8va (an octave lower than played).
man that sounds scary, I love classical violin in baroque styles like Bach, albinoni Vivaldi. I love the sound of harmonic minor scale too
 15. I find reading rhythm the trickiest some ties and rest s confuse me, I've got an app called rhythm sight reader which is good I don't listen to the example first but try to tap it out how I think it should sound from the notation but even so the metronome and the little coloured marks it makes to tell you if you hit early or late tend to give you little cues, I'm hoping its helping though I can apply some exercise uses probably to real phrases. Check it out its a good app I saw 3 more too when I searched the app store. It would be cool to be able to pick out melody lines when using lead sheets fake books as you would be able to play most stuff. I'm gonna keep at it. Oh another problem I'm having I can read notes on bass clef from lower f to higher b but then I see them with 2 3 or 4 leger lines above or below and I have to go ' if that's a c that's a d etc' Arghh
 16.
He has actually does have a book out.
do you think he converted that LDV ex post office van in the background into a camper van himself too? His talents are endless
 17.
heres my band at practice recorded using just a hd hand held camera, the sound is suprisingly good please dnt judge the playing lol!!!! This is cool andy
18. I think the mothers used to be the band 'the turtles' who sang happy together. I'm gonna watch this later it looks good

 21. I am experiencing the same problem, I initially sent him my scratch plate on 1st Oct to use as a template and £20 via PayPal, I messaged him on the 6 Oct to see if it had arrived ok and on 7th he said it had arrived and he would be on the case and have a result shortly on the 22 Oct I sent him a quick message to see if everything was ok no reply but I think he read the message, no answer again 26 oct when I sent a friendly enquiry. Waited a bit sent another message yesterday 1 nov, mentioned I didn't want to seem to be pestering him just concerned if everything ok as he had not answered last messages, gave him my emails, mobile and landline telephone numbers. I thought he may be ill or have a family emergency, although he had posted on the forums on 25th it would have been nice to get a reply to my messages. ......I was not sure how long a scratchplate took to make and if he had difficulty obtaining materials, illness etc, it's awkward not knowing what's happening tho
 22. It is said that criminals can instantly identify a victim in a crowd , perhaps we all carry an unseen identifiable Aura that can be picked up upon by like minded souls wether they be musicians or audience whatever, many strange things go unseen in the world that defy reason
 23. Obviously it's because the bass player is uber cool, sting, kip winger, bill wyman,David ellefson, nikki sixx rudy sarzo, glen Hughes, all these dudes are cool, it must be a trait generic to bass players an inner charisma that refuses to hide its light under a bushel, that's what draws them to identify you man, it,s a heavy burden but being a bass player you can take it , it, s your birthright, go forth and let your notes ring low and clear shaking the very bowels of civilisation
