2. I use my L2500 for everything. It's comfortable, versatile and sounds great. I also love the switching options as they allow you to select between two or three different sounds very quickly.

12. I have the robotalk 2 and the super fatman on my board. They're totally different sounding filters. The robotalk is super funky and you can get some really interesting sounds with both filters running together. Also great if you want a filter for slap and one for finger style. The super fatman does have a massive range of sounds, and it can do massive swells. I don't particularly like it on its own, but with and octave and a fuzz it's great for synthy tones. Can do down sweeps too, has a step filter which can be combined with the envelope and an expression pedal input.

14.
As I was walking back to my car, a group of lads overtook me and one was saying to his mates, "I'm trying to think which Muppet the bass player reminds me of..."
He's always reminded me of Grover.

16. So I've found an Andreas Zeller bass for sale fairly local, and I'm about to take the plunge and buy my first double bass. However, I've noticed from the pictures that the seller has up that the G string is sitting in a deep groove in the bridge. I know this isn't right. Would it just be a case of cutting the bridge down to fix this?
17. The Prince tribute act I play in, EndorphinMachine, need a new keyboard player. Our current one left due to not having enough time to continue. It's a 9 piece band based around Huddersfield. Although the gigs are paid, noone in the band is in it for the money. As we all have various other commitments we usually do around 9 or 10 gigs a year, and rehearse about the same amount. The music is great fun to play, really varied stylistically, and the standard of everyone in the band is excellent. PM me if you or someone you know is interested, or go here for more information: https://www.facebook.com/princetribute.endorphinmachine
18. If musical theatre is your thing, get yourself to this. I'm playing in the pit band. First night yesterday was awesome! Runs until a week today. http://www.atgtickets.com/shows/sister-act/grand-opera-house-york/
19. Just found out about this. Got tickets for Leeds. Can't wait!
