1. When I daisy chain my way huge pork loin together with my other pedals, i get an annoying hum. This happens regardless of whether the pedal is on or off, and stops if i remove the power from this pedal (my signal still gets through as the pedal is true bypass). It also does not happen if i use a seperate power supply just for this pedal. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? I'm using a 1000ma 9v adapter, and daisy chaining 6 pedals including the pork loin. Cheers.
2. We have in the past but not for a couple of years as we're all northerners. I'll be sure to post here if we get anything down south.
3. My Prince tribute band are playing at bar 1:22 in Huddersfield on Friday 18th March. 10 piece band, and one of the best Prince impersonators in the country. Click the link in my signature for more info.
4. My covers band are playing at the Barking Spider in Huddersfield on Thursday. We do a range of 90's and 00's pop, rock, alternative and grunge. More details here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=192066394150621
5. I bought it new when Dave was still making them. Think it was about £200. I'm quite tempted to sell it sometimes when I see the hugely inflated prices they fetch on ebay.
6. Here's mine. Recently added Pork Loin and XBlender.
7. This sounds great. Never been to one of these but would be good to try out some gear.
8. I had thought of trying the enigma qballs, since you can set the start and stop frequency and the rate, similar to the bms. This seems to be the only filter pedal with these sorts of controls.
9. Hey, I've currently got a bass microsynth on my board. It's great, but ive recently got a gated fuzz which i'm using with an octaver instead of the voicing section on the bms. I never use the attack delay function, so i'm only really using the filter section. As the pedal is quite large, and requires it's own power supply, i've been trying to find a small 9v stompbox that can do the job of the filter section. Does anyone have any recomendations for pedals that would be good for this?
10. CANCELLED My band Endorphinmachine are playing the Quayside in Runcorn on Saturday: http://www.quaysideruncorn.com/index.php?p=1_6_Whats-on We're a prince tribute band, and it's the first gig we've done in ages due to keyboard player issues! Come along if you're in the area!
11. Been in contact with La Bella and they're going to send me a whole new set. Result!
12. This is odd...I've just got a set of Deep Talkin's. Never used them before and the g string seems very dull compared to the rest. All the other strings have a certain amount of clank, whereas the G sounds completely dead (kind of more like I expected flats to sound). Also, the G string looks different to the rest of the strings, in that you can't really see the windings on it. Will the rest of the strings calm down to all sound like the G?
13. Hey guys, I've just brought a set of schaller strap locks for my reverend rumblefish. However, I've found that I can't get the top strap pin out of the bass as the screw head is stripped. All the suggested methods for getting screws out which have stripped heads seems a bit drastic (eg: using a screw extractor with a drill - could easily destroy the bass if I slip!). So I'm wondering if it's even worth putting the strap locks on, and whether I should just buy some grolsch and use the rubber washers. What do people reckon?
14.
is this still about?? can you take Paypal?? postage would be to ireland
Actually, had been thinking about getting this defretted so that I get some use out of it, and I think that's what I'm going to do.
15. I've got one of these and it's good. Really simple to use, and excellent if all you want is to be able to plug in an instrument/mic to record ideas.

17. Continuing my clearout, I'm looking to sell my Ashbury 5 string acoustic bass. I bought this from Hobgoblin about 7 years ago, but haven't really had much use for it. It's got a Belcat 5 band active EQ. There's no issues with the bass. Looking for about £150 for this. Would also prefer local pickup as I don't have a hard case for it. Cheers, Ryan.
18. Looks like this is sold. Cheers for looking guys!
