1. I have recently engaged in the purchase of the curiously named Bottom Feeder from Ray and it all went swimmingly. Happy days.
 2. I've used an LH-1000 into both the Barefaced Compact and Big One and find it excellent for the punk / rock that I play. My Spector drives the preamp valve [changed to a Ruby] well and there's a nice growl when I give it some. The simple tone controls do it for me. It's loud too. Very loud through the Big One. Very very loud indeed. The GK is a totally different beast - 4eq, voicing filters, bi-amp, silver bits, more lights - never used one, sorry.
 3.
I would suggest "Sky Hooks" to put in your bass, to secure your strap. They are manufactured by the "Long Stand Company".
6. To be honest, I'd rather dip my bollocks in boiling fat than buy a Behringer. I used a mates for about 15 minutes in a quiet rehearsal in his house and it blew up, scorching the wall and tripping the electrics. Machines idea is a good one.
 7. Gutted for ye mush. How about Bernie Goodfellow in Brighton?
 8.
Mind you, to me everything below Leeds is "The South".
From here, Maidstone's the North East.
 9.
How so? what if its a good the 4ohm as well?
An average 4 ohm. My bad.
 10.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.
Have you tried the Hartke LH's mate? I moved from an ABM EVOII to an LH1000 and it's just great. A good 8 ohm cab will cane a 4 ohm too.
 11. 2001 Mk1 Focus. The boot was made for a Barefaced Big One and the LH in a 2u rack bag. Spector in Boddy Glove gigbag sits nicely behind the front seats and the board & box of bits on the offside rear seat. I don't even need to take the kiddie seat out. An estate next though.

 15.
In dual parallel mode, the two 500 watts are running seperate. So if running two 8 ohms speakers then you get 2 x 225 watts (450 watts). It gets a bit more complicated after that if running 2 x 8 ohm speakers as a 4 ohm config or 2 x 4 ohms speakers. Now do I get the LH1000 with either 1 x 8 ohms speaker (750 watts) or 1 x 4 ohms speaker (1100 watts) or the £50 cheaper LH500 with 1 x 4 ohms speaker (500 watts). Not sure if running just 1 speaker with that much output is the right thing to do.
Bridge mode - 1 x 8 ohm or 1 x 4 ohm or 2 x 8 ohm daisy-chained Dual parallel - 2 x 8 ohm or 2 x 4 ohm, each plugged in to the amp seperately I'm sure I read something about not using just one side in dual parallel mode, but I can't find it now! See here, p12 I have used the 1000 bridged into both the Barefaced Big One [6 ohm] and Compact [8 ohm] - the Big One was obscenely loud and I struggled to get the volume above 5 or 6 even in a fair sized arts centre 'cos as Alex has said, the LH heads really take off at about 6. I gigged at 1 and a bit. The Compact was quieter but still very loud and clear and just about made 6 in a small rehearsal studio. I rehearsed at 3. The sound was totally clear and the cabs had much more to give. I could probably got away with the 500, but hey - I want it to be the last amp I buy for a good while.
In the vast majority of cases the extra 9lbs weight of the LH1000 will be wasted as it takes a very special or very large cab to make use of that kind of power...
I believe I have one on order
 16. Used my old ABM EVOii combo & cab for many gigs and a couple of recordings - sounded great, heavy though.
 17.
I really want to get one of these LH500 amp heads but its not fair. You guys all paid around £200 and now they are selling at around £300. Not fair, I want one :)
Still worth the money mate. My 1000 is the bestest, loudest amp I've ever owned and I've had a few.
 18. I have a TU-2 and I've just moved it to the end of my chain as it really messed with me EHX BassBalls when it was in front of it.

 20.
the more i look the more two compacts under my Fafner would be the sexiest idea ever...that or 4 of them shame I am poor and not gigging at the moment.
2 Big One's.
 21.
The first 'vintage look' Compact: Alex
I must say it looks even better in the flesh. Not stealth black like a proper cab mind , but tasty nonetheless.

 23. Gimme, gimme, gimme! EDIT: I've no idea what my left hand is doing that far up the neck.
