  1. Have you seen this? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/253697-genz-benz-focus-410t/page__fromsearch__1 It's lower down in this forum.
  2. Hi Frank, welcome from a fellow Berliner. Cheers, Paul
  3. This bass is now sold. PLEASE REMOVE
  4. "Ring of Fire" is a bugger if you're not familar with it A doddle to play but scattered with 2/4 bars and the second verse is different to the first. A classic trap.
  5. Now for general sale or trade. I have my Streamliner. P.
  6. Hey there, it's all a bit confusing with these basses. I'm trading one elsewhere on Basschat which I bought from new back in 1990 or 91 (I forget which). One of the problems is that, as far as I can tell having read around a bit, in the Japanese and Taiwanese models (which are ostensibly the same quality, according to what I've read), the "A" stands for active, whereas the American built BB5000A's are passive instruments. Prices vary widely depending where you look. The American ones seem to be more popular and higher priced.
  7. Aaaaah, I's a bit slow on the uptake, but mean well and can lift 'eavy tings! Well I'm certainly up for it.
  8. Thanks for the offer, but I already have a '76 Jazz. Sorry P.
  9. Hello folks, I have a Yammy BB5000A 5-string that I want to sell or trade I bought it new in 1990, so, according to the serial No. on it (and the "The Guitar dater Project") PL 22072, it was built May 22nd (don't ask me how they new the precise date??) 1989 with the unit number 072. It's a Made in Taiwan jobby, strung E-C at present, with the narrow neck: 36mm (from E-string to C-string) at the nut and 60mm at the bridge. I gigged it in the early 90's, hence "that worn-in look", strung B-G, and didn't then touch it for years. I got it set-up and re-strung E-C about a year ago with the intention of trying some new stuff which I never got around to. Cheers, Paul p.s. sorry if this is too many pics, just wanted to be sure and expose all blemishes.

  12. Hi Chaps, this link to Eastwood's own website has three good demos. The third is the Bass Whisperer one which has already been posted here, but the other two are also well worth checking out. http://www.eastwoodguitars.com/sidejack-bass-vi-black/ Cheers, Paul
  13. Hi Andy, given the age of the last post and it being SOLD PENDING, I assume this bass is now gone, but since the thread isn't locked and "nothing ventured, 'n all that......" Is this bass still on the market? Cheers, Paul
  14. Hi Andy, I'm still interested in these. I don't mean to pester, but do you not check here very often or have you changed your mind about selling them? Cheers, Paul
  15. Hi Andy, I'm really interested in the Source Audio stuff. I'm in Germany. What's your prefered form of payment? And, are you willing to post it? (At my expense, of course). Cheers, Paul
  16. Bought a Fender SQ VM Jazz Fretless from Mark. Luckily I was in the area and ablr to test the bass out. It was in great nick and Mark was both helpful and uncomplicated. I'd buy from him again, anytime. Paul
  17. Yum yum, You mentioned a possible trade for a Yammy. Check out this link: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/206172-pricing-help-yamaha-bb5000a/page__p__2061330__hl__yamaha%20bb5000a__fromsearch__1#entry2061330 any interest in this with a cash/trade combination? i.e. you get the yammy plus some cash fro me.
