  2. Bought one of Alains Sadowski knobs. A perfect fit for my Pedulla, a gent to deal with.
  3. Have owned both, Allparts is better quality in terms of fret finishing etc, but theres nothing wrong with the MM stuff. Don't know where you've been looking, but MM is cheaper than allparts. Northwest Guitars are also worth a look.
  4. Bought a set of Rotosounds from Chris, great guy to deal with. Thanks again.
  5. Paul bought the bones of my bitsa '70's Fender. Great comms and quick payment, even parcelfarce couldn't wreck the deal, and they tried!
  6. I've used the NS CR4M for over ten years. Its the one with the dual pickup system for pizz and arco. The neck doesn't really feel like a double bass neck to me, and it has dot markers on the fingerboard, which I hate. But with experimentation with different amps, I've gotten a reasonable imitation of an amplified double bass out of it. Yes, it can be slapped if you just raise the action enough. To my ears, the slap sound is quite authentic. If you're not careful, it can ending up sounding like a standard fretless bass, especially into a desk, but as said, if matched to the right amplification, it does actually sound ok.
  7. You're right. NO LONGER FOR SALE.
  8. 2004 Fender Jazz fretless, made in Mexico. NOW SOLD.
  9. Possibly the capacitors failing.......
  10. £55 inc P&P to the UK Seymour Duncan Quarter pounder pickup for Precision Bass. Good condition and perfect working order. Any questions, please ask. Cheers, Mart.
  11. Buy mine and rectify your error then. 😆
  12. 1978 neck, now sold. Cheers, Mart.
  13. No longer for sale.
  14. Standard instrument di/preamp from Avalon designs. Check out the full specs here: http://www.avalondesign.com/instrudi.html
  15. Your price is a bargain, but I'd have to drill the head stock, and I'd rather not, as the bass is original factory spec. Glwts anyways.
  16. Ok man, I need to check the post hole size, as I don't really want to take a drill to the headstock... I'll be in touch.
