Built as a 6 channel pa head, the circuit sounds almost the same as Hiwatts famed DR103 amps. [b]NOW SOLD.[/b] [b]EMG's first exposed polepiece active pickups. Voiced from an early 1960's Jazz bass and "Designed to give the classic vintage tone and look, but without any extraneous noise. These pickups retain the "faded vintage attack" in conjunction with our lowest noise preamp ever". And they sound mighty fine into the bargain![/b] [b]Excellent condition, complete, and ready to fit: Two pickups, 2x vol and 1x tone control, (and washers and nuts) jack socket, battery holder and solderless wiring loom, (totally new EMG push fit system, upgraded from the old push fit/cut and solder loom). All you'll need are pickup height screws, springs or foam for height adjustment, and knobs for the controls. Oh and a 9 volt battery of course! Snugly fitted into the cavity of my MIJ J Bass.[/b] [b]These pickups are very sensetive to string height, and sound best when as close to the strings as you can practically get them.[/b] [b]These retail at around 135 a set these days, so grab yourself a bargain.[/b] [b]Any questions, please ask.[/b]
