2. Normally i would baulk at the idea of trading a ken smith for a sadowsky, but that is the most stunning example ive ever seen, incredible and ill warrant it sounds as good as it looks, i want it!! beautiful Bass
3.
Now there's a thing of beauty. Just needs one addition though:
LOL if my daughter ever plays bass in the future it WILL be this one, absolute class
4. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! i would love to have Rita back, but no money "ANYONE WANT TO BUY MY SPECTOR"a fantastic bass and if it hasnt gone already im sure a certain previous owner with more disposable income than me will be along in a minute. you new bass must be very special
5. HMM shame its not a 5 as im currently thinking of moving on my early spector 5 with an east u retro pre installed, i loved the tone of my old jazzman ( which you ended up with) but i always found the neck a bit to big for me ( on a 5 anyway) good luck with the trade they are great sounding basses.
6. Very nice, fantastic basses!! have a bump!!
7. Keep your red its amazing, i think it shows off the quilt a little better, mind you ive never seen the point of owning two identical basses just because they are diffrent colours, but hey thats just me, enjoy them both!!!!
8. Keep your red its amazing, i think it shows off the quilt a little better, mind you ive never seen the point of owning two identical basses just because they are diffrent colours, but hey thats just me, enjoy them both!!!!

11.
this one?
HA HA the look on his drummers face is priceless, ive been watching him with Meshel ndege ocello(prob spelt wrong)and the tone is everything you could want clear, warm and punchy, percussive sound just amazing Andrew Gouche gets a fantastic tone out of these too, if i had the cash i'd be taking your arm off but alas im very poor and dont get to keep nice basses for long. Huge bump for an incredible looking instrument
12. let me know and i'll try to get to this one!!

15.
You're both MORE than welcome chaps
Hey Gary while we're all picking your brains, ive been having another browse through your collection and you,ve a few euros, how would you compare the tone and build quality of the early all maple versions and the current alder/walnut/maple LX versions?, ive played a couple of Lx's breifly in the past and liked them, but not spent an amount of time to really get a feel for them. Cheers mate
16.
It sure is still here. You're more than welcome to come and give it a try; I'll even throw in a free cup of tea or coffee and use of 'the facilities' .
cheers mate That would be great, bit of a trek for me though, if it was originally going at that price(when i had cash to spend) i would have had it straight away, its a beauty, do you have any soundclips? huge bargain price for a truly stunning bass - bump!!!!
17. I would love to try this i miss my old ken smith, great price too - bump!!
18.
Here's my more modest contribution - a recent acquisition, my NS-2JR-A. It's a 2008 Czech reissue of the 1983 original, with 83 of each colour (black, White and Natural) available worldwide. Very happy to have mine, the active EMGs making for a nice super-Jazz, if not perhaps to traditional Spector specifications. Sorry they're a bit lop-sided. I bought the wife an iPad for anniversary - haven't mastered it!!! Bass/hound crossover!
Thats lovely,i'd like one in white, a nice alternative to the usual PJ arangment, just like gene simmons twin jazz spector.
19. seems while managing my attachments ive wiped off my last pics, DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have got soe better ones though courtesy of its previous owner Machinehead (cheers frank) [atta c hment=78747:Spector_re_done6.jpg]
20.
A couple more pics for your viewing pleasure
Ive just noticed the middle laminate in the neck is flamed, NICE!!!! i dont think ive seen that before, probably very usual though
21.
Here are some pics of the bass Sorry about the dodgy photography, but I'm sure you'd agree she's a real beauty!
Thats absolutely stunning mate, my spector is a 2001 so has the all maple body too, they also have the full brass bridge too (i believe, the wonderful cetera will be able to confirm this) very crisp cutting sound but loads of bottom too, i'd love a 4 string to go with it, you/ll probably find yours is closer to doug whimbish's spector than the current euro lx version, i believe yours will be known as a NSCR4 FM. Give me a shout if you move it on
22. Is this still here? thats just wrong, fantastic bass at a great price,as i said i wouldnt mind this myself, wish i could A/B with my spector and see if i made the right choice back in december- another bump for this stunner!!

Pointy

AAAWW i really love this thread, its a shame ive nothing pointy to post, but i am gassing for an old kramer forum2 or a jackson kip winger and ive always had a soft spot for BC RICH mockingbirds, thanks for the great pics guys
24. Is this the one that belonged to bassbluestew? i was very close to buying this myself from him but went with a pimped up spector (which is the dogs doodahs i must admit) looking at this im having a slight pang of regret, the OW would probably suit the theatre and function gigs i do a bit better than the spector, a rediculous bargain, absolutely stunning i think i want it, BUMP
25. I would love this myself, alas funds are non existent, could it be used to add a bit of tube warmth to an amp sound too? it states its a preamp so i suppose it would, ideal for smoothing out my spector huge bump!!!
