1. Hello hello! Welcome indeed...If you want that Fenix setting up let me know They made some nice basses!
2. Yes yes I know.. and I'll probably regret it.. it's been a beast! But looks like it's going to someone who'll appreciate it
3. This Handsome Black Beauty has served me well but I no longer can afford its luxury.. Owned since new and used in my studio with the exception of one outing to jam 4 songs.. It's had a small strap button accident about 2 years ago which pushed the button into the finish, this has remained solid since. There is also a tiny ding in the finish on the neck, not noticeable by hand. It could do with being in the hands of a demon who'll love that deep low end.. Any questions, I'll try my best, J £750
4. Thanks guys! I feel properly aboard now... Mr.Pup I will take some pics of My Tokai at the weekend and porn it LARGE!! Hehehe Mr.Weeks is such a nice chap and actually seeing someone play is the best way to access their style I think. Hence his slightly out of place nature on my very Prog-Rock List! Maybe I should add Bootsy too....
5. Hi I thought it was about time I said hello.. I've been lurking around for about a month without having the time to fine tune my profile. I've been playing Bass since '88, mainly as an aide to my song writing and means to a groove through a very electronic 90's! I now record mostly and am always fiddling about with the best way to do that. I love a good groove, but don't we all? I have owned many nice Basses in my time from the JayDee Supernatural, Warwick FNA Jazzman, Tokai Jazz Bass the list goes on a bit My Favourite all time bass is my Tokai VRB80.. Jazz neck with a slab P body.. and it's orange!! I'm also learning to sight read bass....yowzer! Bass Heroes include- The Ox, John Wetton,Mike Rutherford, Tony Levin and Willie Weeks.. And so... Hello!
6.
My new baby - A Super Headless As a point of interest, my pick up covers do not have the logo on them - are they meant to? It's a 1988 version. Cheers!
Mmm tasty bass Mr Pup!!
7. Hi Basschat peeps! I've been playing Bass for some 20years and owned a few sexy intstruments.. My favourite past bass being the Jay Dee Supernatural - what a beast! I now play an Tokai Hard Puncher VSB80. Most of my playing is resigned to the studio although occasionally I play live. I also set up instruments part time as well as having been a Bass tech on the road. Mostly interested in recording and all that entails! J
