i have replied VL01 -*- and yes, Chris, that was me the vampyre LTD (who was originally from marcbass) is still with me. i wonder if the guy who ripped me off still frequents the forums?

SOLD and will be on its way to Singapore -*- hey guys, i have a very nice Ken Smith BSR5MS here, and it is a bit too nice that i am not fully able to use its potential. its a 2009 model and the condition is very very very good, from the frets to the electronics ... the only cosmetic flaw i can think of are some buckle marks from behind, and they are difficult to photograph. you may not notice them unless you really look for them. i will be shipping it along with a TKL Hardcase it came with. and oh, i am from the Philippines and the reason why i have a Basschat account was that because a few years back, some guy from the UK scammed me of a Warwick Vampyre LTD ... it is with the help of this forum and great contribution from Shockwave, that i was able to get the bass (they even set a Paypal donation account to have my best shipped to me). Rest assured, i am very honest, and there is no way in the world i will misrepresent or flat-out, scam anyone. [color=#FF0000][b]selling it for: 2,150 Euros[/b][/color] + [i]shipped![/i] shipping is usually a b*tch ... that is why i will split the cost with you. i'll do my best to come up with a favorable deal. -*- as for trades: i really want a trade plus cash deal for a 5 string Warwick Infinity NT, or a Vampyre LTD - but if your wicks are really really nice, then i just might go for a straight trade, despite the fact that wicks have terrible resale value. i am looking to DOWNGRADE, so please run any 5 stringer with me ... i'd avoid trades that require me to add cash. as much as i'd like a Ritter or even a Wal ... i really have no money. enough of that, and on to the pics (the pics were from the guy i got it from, i pretty much kept it the same way): -*- and finally, here's a clip of me, playing it wrong: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeZMIUO5On4[/media]

i also added fanned frets... i realized it actually helps me big time when i go into higher notes ... i guess im going with it for the comfort more than the added tension.... i also noticed this bass doesnt have a mono bridge system: [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLi8pOa6zYk"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLi8pOa6zYk[/url] so im thinking itll be fine with a Kahler

ive decided and i have sent my request to the luthier... so here are the specs: -34" neck 4 string -wenge neck and fretboard -bubinga body -hipshot ultralite tuners -KAHLER TREMOLO (*lol*) -EMG P/J active PUPs -Seymour Duncan Pre-amp -carved top -chinese character abalone "Teh" inlays with side dots -ritter bolt system not much of a unique custom... but oh well, the unique customs really are expensive with not much tonal differences from "simple" wood... its really too bad i dont have that luxury

i see... so that Fodera ddnt have Bubinga in it at all? ... whats the difference between a seymour duncan and EMG pups? ... believe it or not, i havent tried em...

i see... so that is really Bubinga on that Fodera? ... cause i realized it could also be Afzelia.... the owner doesnt seem to reply to msgs (must be quite a busy guy).... and one more thing... alder body + wenge neck-fretboard + SD PUP and preamp = could sound as punchy and growly as that Fodera? im thinking that when it boils down to it... i would prefer tone over aesthetics and color combination.... although, i really dont want anything black *lol*
