  1. Here you go chaps... wanted some new driving playlists! Will try and keep it updated!
  2. Sold one of my SL112s to @wolldav, lovely bloke and a pleasure to deal with!
  3. @foxyFuze thanks for the shout! Very nice...however my new one arrives in about a week's time, so I'm off the market!
  4. @EBS_freak A woojer arrived at my door today...enjoying playing around with it! Looking forward to seeing how it translates to a live environment!
  5. @fleabag if you google you can often find the pages of previous cabs not linked to?
  6. Nice idea! I've been working with a folk band down here called Velvet & Stone lately, really enjoying their music! Haven't had a camera one any of my more upbeat gigs but it's a start!
  7. Eich Bass Board for sale... this is the small version, 80x55cm. Comes with a slip over cover and a nice long speakon cable. For those who might not know it's a (nearly) silent speaker cab for standing on, especially good in the modern world of In Ear Monitoring. Needs to be powered by an amp, runs at 8ohms so can be paired with another 8ohm cab if you want to spoil yourself! Could potentially ship, I still have the original box. Condition is good, aside from to one of the corners as shown in the photos. Am mostly in Exeter but often Bournemouth too. For reference, an Aguilar tonehammer running at 8ohms (300w) is shaking the hell out of you by 11 o clock on the master...
  8. I've been playing a rented one of these, well set up they are a remarkable bass for that kind of money, and really come alive with a set of good strings. If we were nearby I'd have it off you! Good luck!
  9. @Psharpe89 I played in house ands for two local venues here at about the same time, both had TC RS212 and RS210 cabs, one had the BH550 and one the RH750! Style was much the same, general covers/function stuff. Very similar amps to one another, and the toneprints on the 550 were more useful than I first suspected. The 750 seemed a little more vintage coloured to me, and the presets were handy for different basses. I'd say I felt the 550 to be a little tougher as a unit, I've seen a lot of 750s with damaged knobs and plastic. If you want to save a little cash, I'd honestly say I had as good a time with the cheaper of the two!
  10. Got to agree... the (I think) 2013 Glastonbury gig was great, same bassist but really keeping things tight. Was very surprised this year and on NYE to hear him going way overboard. Even managed to get a DB751 Sound nasty when he hit the thing too hard...
  11. Mental... did you buy from them direct? Will have to try this...
  12. Aha... so potentially a split of the single from an IEM wireless pack could work?
  13. Hey @EBS_freak, this all looks very interesting... I use a bass board but love the idea of something more personal! How do you get your mix from the desk to the Woojer? Seemed like it was phone app situation!
  14. Xotic do a doubler that's only about £25, easily available and superb!
  15. Had a re-jig tonight... keeping the fishman separate for Upright but it goes to the pedalboard and joins the amp signal....
  16. I purchased these from here last week, but for me they were a little too vintage, and the complete transparency of my Barefaced cabs suits my needs (Double Bass Clarity!) a little better! I do have some potential buyers locally at the moment, but there's some flakiness going on so happy to offer them for sale here at the moment as collection only for now. I'm based in Exeter but often come to Bournemouth for work, including over Christmas. Happy to sell together at £920 or separately at £460. Extremely good condition and with very nice covers, and the weight is amazing! One left!
  17. Up for sale is a David Gage Realist Copperhead... originally owned by @mart3442 but on my bass for a few months! In the name of full disclosure I took this off my bass this week as I thought there was an issue with it. Bought a new one, and as it turned out the problem was my bridge placement, not the pickup! I can confirm that it sounds exactly the same as the new one... you just need to make sure the bridge is actually sitting on it properly or it will pick up everything but your bass (idiot!). Price includes postage from Exeter, collection from here or Bournemouth possible. Bass bags fitting included to avoid having to remove G string. Fitting video below in case you are unfamiliar with the design.
  18. Barefaced Super 12T 4ohm 2x12 (with tweeter) cab...super light and will take up to 1200w. Handles and Cover showing a bit of wear but an outstanding sounding cab. Barefaced logo is still in my possession but removed itself from the grill! Piping I believe added by a previous owner and easily removable if not to taste. Spotted something else that takes my fancy so resisting this, although I may withdraw if said other thing becomes unavailable! Am based in Exeter but travelling between here and Bournemouth a fair bit over the next few weeks, and possibly closer to the M4 too. DIMENSIONS 30" H x 19.5" W x 13.5" D 76cm x 48cm x 34cm WEIGHT 42lbs/19kg (Super Twelve T) BROADBAND SENSITIVITY 102dB - louder than many 4x10" cabs USABLE FREQUENCY RANGE 37Hz - 22kHz (T) RECOMMENDED AMP POWER 150-1200W RMS MAX CONTINOUS BROADBAND SPL 130dB - Louder than most 4x10"s and many 4x12"s NOMINAL IMPEDANCE 4 ohms
  19. For anybody with one who might be able to help diagnose, it's got a bit of a hum and seemed to be keener to pick up acoustic guitar from the wedges than my bass last night!
  20. Bit of a long shot...but does anybody around here have a realist copperhead spare that they know is in full working order? I have a feeling mine is unwell, but I have nothing to compare it with. Would happily pay postage if anyone is generous enough to let me borrow one for a couple of days to compare! I'm in Exeter if anyone is local!
  21. All good experiences here, easy and smooth!
  22. EHX Bass Microsynth... a few scratches but in good condition! Price includes postage from Exeter, Collection welcome!
