  1. Black Alder Sire P7 Active 5 string... I think I have to accept that I'm at my happiest with just 4! This one has been fitted with Nordstrand pickups (NPJ5FS Hum Cancelling), black metal knobs, and had the finish on the neck taken down just a little, not so much you'd notice anything has been done but so it's not quite as thick and glossy as it came. Currently fitted with Curt Mangan coated 45-130. Original Pickups and Knobs included. A little wear showing around the back/bottom as pictured, but overall very good condition. Preamp set flat is identical to pre-amp off, ideal if you want to be switching between two tones. Gator Transit Gigbag now included. Happy to package up for courier but collection from Bournemouth obviously more fun!
  2. Shure wireless system with plenty of bits and pieces! PPG, Price includes delivery, collection welcome from Exeter/Bournemouth.
  3. All pedals including postage from Exeter (from Feb, Bournemouth!) Collection welcome or PPG. Wampler Faux Tape Echo £145 Henretta Purple Octave £80 SOLD MXR Micro Flanger £60 SOLD Dunlop DVP4 Mini Volume/Expression £75 SOLD Moollon Signal Boost £120 Shure GLX-D4R Rackmountable Wireless £340
  4. @Lakland5 still here!
  5. If you're into Sharay this is his current gig... very tasty! https://youtu.be/EsCZUqiYRRo
  6. Fully agree with this... I run my own band in Devon and really get wound up when the guys start pushing in or being demanding. In our contract there's a 'Things that help us but are not demands' section that allows the clients to let us know if we're being fed, watered and green roomed, no pressure. Means we can plan in advance, and there's no excuse for anyone to arrive and whine about being hungry. Usually we're fully invited to all, in which case it's just about behaving respectfully. Have done plenty of dep gigs where I feel uncomfortable about the way the band are acting towards the client on this subject, especially when the demands are super picky for peoples requirements!
  7. Blackstone Appliances Mosfet Drive: £180 Posted...2 channel super-dynamic overdrive, the latest version. Here's their info! Boxed and in excellent condition.SOLD One Control Mosquito Blender: £100 Posted. Ideal for adding a Clean blend to any pedal that doesn't have one... I was using it for the Blackstone here. Well equipped but nice and small!
  8. Hey! Whereabouts are you based?
  9. Focusrite Scarlett interface... includes both a 'normal' USB cable and one for USB C/Thunderbolt. Price includes postage.
  10. Hey @scalpy, Teignmouth, Devon!
  11. Can only echo the above... I pop in there most weeks and his setups are stunning!
  12. Exeter but travel across the south coast often!
  13. Hi @Manu Berdin... I'm afraid I don't know and don't have any way to check at the moment! It's lighter than my Sire and not much more than my limelights, which were just over 8lbs (when I bought them....)
  14. Harley Benton PJ-75... exceedingly good bang for the buck with these. I tend to like something with an exceedingly vintage radius to the fingerboard so have moved on, but I've used this bass on a few very professional gigs and it did a killer job. Can arrange collection or box up nicely for the courier (Included). One little dink on the back, pictured. Am looking for a great Mustang or Barefaced Big Twin if anyone wants this towards it (or is selling!)
  15. Concur with all of the above... very easy to do a deal with!
  16. On Hold
  17. One lightly used set of 3/4 Thomastik Spirocore Weichs, a couple of gigs and a recording session in them. Wanted to try them but am sticking with the Pirastros! £90 Price includes postage.
  18. @Creeper Weirdly I put a proper darker plate on this when I got it, and it really didn't look right for the era! Going back through pictures of the originals it seems Mark got it right (again... I've questioned things with him before and as it turns out when it comes to vintage-correctness he's always right!)
  19. @Mase Shipping abroad shouldn't be a problem! That looks great!
  20. Or, more simply perhaps... through your bass/pedalboard/DI/Whatever you could get a tone you like, and enjoy playing to...and then let anyone on FOH work with that the same as they would your amp sound. This is where stuff like the MXR/Sadowsky/Noble Preamps/DIs come in. My favourite thing about IEMS is that what I'm playing to is representative of what I'm sending to the PA, so I can be reasonably aware of how the changes I make apply to the FOH. I don't really want what I'm hearing to be different to the DI feed.
  21. Found it... here's one of Marks shots from when I bought the bass!
  22. Cheers guys! Will try and get some better picks with the other guard... certainly more authentic to the time!
  23. Limelight 70s Jazz in smoke stained white with Blocks & Binding, both black and tortoiseshell scratchplate and a tweed case. Will have vintage strap buttons rather than straplocks. My recent Precisions from him have got me very covered for the moment! I'm sure I could post, please ask! Based in Exeter but all over the shop over the next few weeks. No trades unless a nice 5 string P/J shows up...
  24. @cannongeorge I've been asking for that for a while now, but no luck! Just the vintage Js and Ps!
