1. Bought an old treasure off Loz. Good chats by PM, a real gent. Although we never actually met, we organised for Mrs Bagsieblue to trek half way across Manchester to do the deal. Note to self - Must stop (or at least balance the risk/reward) of sending Mrs Bagsieblue on errands to meet strange (no offence Loz) men on bass related transactions.
2. I bought a P/J bass kit from John for a Bass Collection SB301. A great bit of kit, really has pushed the bass up another level. A great upgrade - the gentlemen and the products are highly recommended to all. I'm sure I'll be doing more business with John. Thanks Again
3. 1997 Fender Squier Affinity P Bass in Black. Excellent condition for the year, a few blemishes on the body only, the neck and headstock are unmarked. The neck has a lovely grain to it. Speaks for itself really, a great solid bass, classic P Bass thump as expected. Feel free to PM for more pictures, shipping options, further details etc. Any trial or inspection is welcome. NOW SOLD
4.
'bagsieblue' any trades? . A couple of people on this forum will know why this will have sparked my interest........ MB1. Would seem Columbus has set sail ...and you've missed the boat!
Hmm - let's see how the brisk trade winds from the East (Lancashire) blow...

8.
How many basses you got for sale. This is mighty purty but I'm still suffering from "god doesn't want me to spend money on shiny things" syndrome. (first car, now heating system
Too many..... A unplanned purchase of this bass: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/52590-warwick-thread/page__st__320__gopid__1858016#entry1858016 ....has meant that I need (read, I have been ordered by Mrs Bagieblue) to recoup some money and make some space.
9. Also, my Swirly Bubinga Ltd Edition Corvette $$
10. Bump, for a more realistic price of £160..
11. Sold a Bass to Gavin - Hassle free, payment made as promised easy to deal with, regular communication etc. Would happily deal with again. Thanks again Gavin..
12. Mart's info is spot on. Another opinion is that these are actually pretty decent basses - I've played a few and thought they were certainly acceptable for the price. Ovangkol neck, Wenge board, Bell Brass Frets...... I'd have one of these over the Spector, especially if you were looking to upgrade the electronics. Like most 'cheaper' instruments the weakest link is the electronics Which then basically leaves you with the materials and any sway you put into the workmanship - Warwick (Germany), Spector (China).
13.
For comparison - to show what a bargain this bass is:- http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649
Yep - I'd seen that, optimistic pricing based on current market prices but these are great basses. I'm probably going to withdraw this and keep it as a museum piece.
14. Thanks for the input guys - much appreciated as ever.... Couldn't find that much around to work out a price, so admittedly I went on the high side as can obviously always negotiate down but not up...... .
15. Bump, open to offers or possible trade for a SGC Nanyo 5 String Bass Collection
16. Looking for some input on a Korean Squire P Bass I have for sale on here. I got this recently in a roundabout trade for an early 90's Korean guitar. It's a 1993 Fender Squire Precision MIK - Maple Neck and smaller funky (or horrible depending on your view) tuners. Link to sale below. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/190427-1993-fender-squire-precision-mik-white-maple-neck/page__p__1850203#entry1850203 Looking for input on opinions on these basses - particularly around the pricing I've put on it. I've had a good google around and not found much info. Thanks In Advance
17. Arrgghh - not sure I want to be doing this but I need to make space and funds available for a good honest 5 stringer. So….. Up for Sale is my Warwick Dolphin Pro II in a Red Burst Finish. Pretty rare these, I believe only 1000 or so were made. I’ve had a good look around online and not found any other images of one in this finish. Truss rod cover says Dolphin Pro I, but as a bolt on this is a Dolphin Pro II Lovely, slim maple neck. Wenge Fretboard Ash body so fairly lightweight Same electronics as in the high end Warwick’s from the time. Active / Passive Option. Has a stick on FretFX fret light system installed. Easily removable should you wish. Battery compartment attached to the back of the headstock and then the strip of lights runs down the top of the fretboard. Withdrawn, what was I thinking?
18. BBB Bargain Bass Bump.....
19.
Hello Is this an active bass please? Thank you Mike
No, this is a passive bass - still more than capable of a wide range of tones though. These are great basses and if it wasn't for the fact I have two of them I'd be keeping it.
