  1. If you end up using just the Rumble amp sim, may as well save money and just get the Rumble V3! However the SVT and Bassman models sounded pretty damn good to me in the demos.
  2. If this pedal will achieve anything, it will bring this young 'rapper' with his fistful of $1 bills a few more hits on his Youtube channel!
  3. Another pedal that some of you synth crowd will be into: https://malekkoheavyindustry.com/product/downer/
  4. I've no idea, but I like #2 the best!
  5. I was looking around for a garden office recently and came across these guys, they have examples of sound proofed studios too: http://www.boothsgardenstudios.co.uk
  6. Looks like a iRig Stomp but with Mac/PC compatibility. Could be pretty nifty when paired with a micro PC like the GPD Pocket. You could even run Helix Native or the Darkglass plugins on it. Edit: looks like there's a new version from IK Multimedia that looks even more flexible: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/mobile/products/irigstompio/
  7. No I have a 1025X but sorely tempted to add a 735A to the stable!
  8. Geezer doesn't carry his own amps! He has a butler for that.
  9. Also don't make the mistake that the fundamental is the only frequency to be concerned with. A low B is 31 Hz but most speakers can't reproduce that very well so it's mainly the harmonics (e.g. at 62 Hz and 124 Hz) you are hearing, which tricks your brain into hearing the fundamental when it's not there. Anyhow, I think the main reason for wanting an octaver that tracks low is not to try and produce subs that you would struggle to amplify, but merely to stop it glitching when you do have to play a low note. Anything below regular open A sounds far too muddy with octave down, they're more suited to adding low end to higher register playing, which is something you can to an extent cop on an 8/12 string.
  10. Kids today you see, they like to take drugs and dance to Casio keyboards (or Boss OC-2s) in darkened rooms:
  11. Aha, but I’d like to hear your 12 string sound like a bass synth! https://1drv.ms/f/s!ApKsVfvGwYkOiqcUT79WoDBsenS1pQ
  12. That and the £2K price tag!
  13. Except the Orange Terror manual has no mention of this and it's even incorrectly labelled cut/boost either side of the 12 o'clock markers! Manual: 5. BASS CONTROL The bass control adjusts the bass response of the amplifier. 6. MIDDLE CONTROL The middle control adjusts the mid range response of the amplifier. 7. TREBLE CONTROL The treble control adjusts the treble response of the amplifier.
  14. Nice one! I work from home so will be able to have a cheeky go as soon as it lands!
  15. One of these will do nicely! http://m.dx.com/p/gpd-pocket-7-aluminum-shell-mini-laptop-umpc-windows-10-system-cpu-x7-z8750-8gb-ram-128gb-rom-silver-488406?tc=GBP&ta=GB
  16. I'm going to name my next band 'Automatically Add to iTunes'. iTunes sorts its music files into artist folders, and also adds anything found in the 'Automatically Add to iTunes' folder to the library. I wonder if it will get stuck in an eternal loop if you added a track with that set as the artist name!
  17. Post-Rock band names are all a bit pretentious as well. Four words minimum, the more the better. And So I Watch You From Afar And We Washed Our Weapons In The Sea From Oceans To Autumn Let Airplanes Circle Overhead Maria Isn't A Virgin Anymore Mountains Became Machines Set The White Flags On Fire Slowly What The Blood Revealed Youth Pictures Of Florence Henderson
  18. Tis true. There is a band round my way that goes by the name of Electric craddock. If anything it gets them noticed! EDIT: No Mr Profanity Filter, not Electric Craddock - Electric F4NNY!
  19. Looks like an Ibanez Iceman and a Gibson RD Artist had a baby!
  20. On hold pending collection!
  21. New wardrobe GAS?
  22. I still stand by my trusty B3K though! Moving on the amp was a simple matter of no longer being in a band and it being surplus to requirements. From playing with the B3K along with a full mix, I've found that contrary to what we keep hearing about the evils of mid-scoops, a mid-scoop really works as long as you boost and distort the living bejesus out of your upper mids. I have high hopes for the dUg pedal anyway, might have to do a little in-the-mix clip of Doug vs dUg!
  23. Doug vs dUg! He was banging on like it was a big conspiracy, the huge Darkglass corporation trying to control your mind and make you buy their pedals. Probably a flat-earther.
  24. ^ 'chocolate starfish' - nice one, profanity filter!
  25. LOL that dude really has a bee up his chocolate starfish about the B7K Ultra he bought, then posted an epic thread + video rant about how bad Darkglass are, because they obviously have no clue since they don't use a crossover like the dUg pedal, because that is the ONLY way to get hard rock bass tone of course.
