    Absolutely! These are GREAT basses and this one looks amazing! Seriously if you haven't played one of these and are looking for a bargain buy this......I have a five string and it is still here a keeper when I have moved on Alleva Coppolo/Celinder/Roscoe/Sadowsky etc!!!

    Sent you a PM yesterday? Does anyone know how this amp compares to an Orange Ad200 in depth of tone?(Huge sounding fatness!!) I'm not after overdriven tones particularly.

    2 Items FS I recently bought this practically mint Ampeg Pre here on the forum and it is exactly as advertised. I bought the cab from Bass Direct a few months ago - it's one of the generally sought after Series 1 versions and is in good condition - it came with a cover of sorts but I have some pride so I think I burned it!     Met Jim at his house today and he bought my '76 Fender P bass. A great experience all round! Played stacks of basses including a 1920 double bass! (When I say played I am using some SERIOUS poetic license!) Lovely guy thoroughly recommended! And he lives near Platypus so you can do two deals at once a lot of the time!!!

In fact she calls Kenny Higgins 'the best bass player on earth....' It's been years since I played someone's records 'to death' but I am loving these albums - I really would like to play this sort of stuff in a band - finding a singer might be tricky! Wife says.......'you're infatuated with that Corinne Bailey Rae' - she's getting jealous!

    OK I've just been a naughty boy again and spent money I don't have so this bass HAS TO GO! £1250.oo ................for a pucker '76 Fender PBass with Fender hard case! There's nothing wrong with this bass - I'm taking a hit financially! (as usual )

    I'd always get a 410 over a 212 for a one cab option. I'd recommend a Berg or an Epi 410UL. I have the latter and it's a deep sounding cab, 1000w @ 4ohms! 57lbs
