1. Hi measured it just under 9 inches. So is the Chevin........(very poor )
2. Thanks Owen, I think it's a great setup too, I guess I would say that......... ...........but it really is!! Welcome to come try too.
3. Absolutely! These are GREAT basses and this one looks amazing! Seriously if you haven't played one of these and are looking for a bargain buy this......I have a five string and it is still here a keeper when I have moved on Alleva Coppolo/Celinder/Roscoe/Sadowsky etc!!!
4. Sent you a PM yesterday? Does anyone know how this amp compares to an Orange Ad200 in depth of tone?(Huge sounding fatness!!) I'm not after overdriven tones particularly.
5. 2 Items FS I recently bought this practically mint Ampeg Pre here on the forum and it is exactly as advertised. I bought the cab from Bass Direct a few months ago - it's one of the generally sought after Series 1 versions and is in good condition - it came with a cover of sorts but I have some pride so I think I burned it! Ampeg SVT 11P ------------£310.00 http://www.ampeg.com/pdf/SVTIIP.pdf Series 1 Epifani 410UL (8 ohm)----------£445.00 Pics:--- Thanks for looking!
6.
Whatever you do DONT let Flanker see this. He is on a mission to buy every pre and power amp known to man :-)
Well I was until I tried Powersoft, now the others are for sale! Bump for a powerful lightweight setup.
7.
We were running it through his Epifani cab in his front room. When I switched it on, he assumed it wasn't plugged in.
And I'm still loving it!! The best Poweramp I've had - by miles.

Met Jim at his house today and he bought my '76 Fender P bass. A great experience all round! Played stacks of basses including a 1920 double bass! (When I say played I am using some SERIOUS poetic license!) Lovely guy thoroughly recommended! And he lives near Platypus so you can do two deals at once a lot of the time!!!
11. Played this bass today - what a bargain!!!!

13.
Shame when an artist of her calibre doesn't have band credits on her website
In her defence I downloaded the digital booklet for her original album and the band are credited on there. In fact she calls Kenny Higgins 'the best bass player on earth....' It's been years since I played someone's records 'to death' but I am loving these albums - I really would like to play this sort of stuff in a band - finding a singer might be tricky! Wife says.......'you're infatuated with that Corinne Bailey Rae' - she's getting jealous!
14. OK I've just been a naughty boy again and spent money I don't have so this bass HAS TO GO! £1250.oo ................for a pucker '76 Fender PBass with Fender hard case! There's nothing wrong with this bass - I'm taking a hit financially! (as usual )
15. I'd always get a 410 over a 212 for a one cab option. I'd recommend a Berg or an Epi 410UL. I have the latter and it's a deep sounding cab, 1000w @ 4ohms! 57lbs
16. Jo is a straight up guy. These are great cabs too - I'm on my third!
17. Thanks Alan Col you won't want to hear this but it was partly seeing your PJ for sale that motivated me to move this bass - I fancied the look of your PJ!!! Can you get it back???
18. Hey Dan check it out - your old Powersoft is pure Class!!! Great relatively lightweight rig!
