1. Will do, thanks - it's a pity I'm missing you guys. I hope someone will take lots of photos and let us see them! All the best for the gig. Please keep us posted about your future gigs in West London. You say it's your last gig for this year - are your band taking a break from gigging for a few months?
 2. Will make sure to get to the Blues festival before 2 then, and hopefully I'll find you there, Paul.
 3. I always turn the Warwick forum chat off when I log on there! I think it does detract from the content that would otherwise end up in the normal threads and be there for all to enjoy.
 4. Paul - afraid I'll be at Paco Peña's gig that night but, for anyone else in the area, where exactly are you playing?
 5. Hey, don't rush to conclusions - I 'm thinking of popping in, weather permitting!
 6.
Hmm. OK then, how about this: I'll tell you something very interesting about my arse - for a pound. Any takers? Eh? Eh?
I love it when you raise the tone of a thread like this, Mark
 7.
I started playing rock music in my teens and soon hair started growing in all the weiredst places ! So I cut down on rock music and played more Jazz to stop the effect !
Hmmm...
 8.
I do when I'm trying to stalk you......you need to notify me, I get lonely ya know !
We can recognise each other by the nice EUB we carry with us, and cuddle, at all times
 9. Does your Stagg come with a spacing bracket? I find that that can help you balance your instrument by allowing you to pull it towards yourself and still keep the correct distance for comfortable playing. (I've got a spacer for the HB, while the NXT doesn't need one as it's got its own tripod.)
 10.
Ask Joe Satriani.
He wasted his street cred in the early 00s! (And he never had long hair, IIRC?)
 11. Playing rock music is good for much more than your hair! Your speed and accuracy, your street cred, your pulling power (even in the case of female musicians!), etc....
 12.
Proof that 'care in the community' does work...
But I doubt anybody in my community gives a damn whether I go out or stay in!
 13.
You need to get out more...
Thing is, I do get out as well...
 14. Hehe I'm simply not a huge fan of the Manchester sound after the 80s. But the links you guys are posting here of late sound great!
 15. Bump, and all the best. Let us know how it went, and post pics! I'm beginning to think I should plan a visit to Manchester soon, 'cos you guys seem to have a lot of good music stuff going on at the moment
 16.
It's very natural to cuddle an upright bass!
And hug it, and look at it lovingly, and pose with it for your Facebook profile photo...
 17.
I'm happy that you spelt my mate Dave's surname wrong too ;o) he he he - Thank you though Kilo is still kicking out buckets of low end!
LOL I immediately spotted the typos in both your names, which means that you and Megadeth's Low End are on a par in my eyes.
 18. Wow, sounds awesome. All the best! You'll be fine - what matters at such big events is the overall vibe and the connection the bands establish with the crowd. Nobody will notice any mistakes caused by first-time nerves Post pics and vids if/when you have them!
 19. Er, maybe we shouldn't have hijacked Shelley's thread like this?
 20.
Quite. Just like those chiffon culottes I bought. Never wear 'em!
You could wear them especially for us now, and take a photo and post it here
 21.
Having said that, I can understand why men would wear them... Ha, ha, ha!
LOL I do wear high heels, as well as flats and mid-heights, but they all hurt after a while, as my feet are no longer as good as they used to be. So there's no point in buying anything special that I could never wear.
 22.
Better include this site, too... http://www.fanpop.co...ens-shoes/forum
Ugh, that's horrid. Honestly, I would pass out with boredom after a few minutes on that site. My shoe buying process usually lasts less time than it takes me to post one reply on this site!
