Hi everyone. Just joined BC today and decided it was only right to come and introduce myself and say hi. I live in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Been playing bass for about 5 years on and off (mostly just messing about a bit), but have only recently in the last year started to take it more seriously and increase my knowledge and skills. In the past I've only ever really played around at home, but hopefully things will be changing soon. Got my first proper gig lined up in Sept with some friends and I'll be playing for about 80 -100 people which should be nice (possibly nervously too!). At the moment, I'm just playing a cheap Peavey bass, but I like it. Would love a nice Fender Jazz at some point soon. Using an Ashdown ABM Evo II 500 2x10 combo, but in a couple of weeks, I'll be getting a 4x10 extension cab to use beneath that too. Mostly into rock and indie type music, with a bit of funk thrown in, but I'll generally listening to most styles and there are bits from most genres I like. Hope you're all have a great day! Cetus
