1. REDUCED £700
2. Only thing similar to what you're after would be my Markbass Classic 610 cab ... but if you're downsizing it's probably bigger than 410 tho at 35kg prob a bit lighter.
3. Great looking rig, congrats , might have to pick your brains at some point regarding POD for recording as I've got an HD bean (guitar) but still need Mac (pc) Is that like my S12T but with 3012LF's & a midrange ?
4. I got a jazz from Warmoth years ago & quality was excellent ... can't advise on pickup choice other than go split coil with HB like you already suggested just to give your self a few more tonal options (I also prefer SC) .. I'm gonna be ordering another Warmoth myself soon but 7 string baritone this time ....good luck with the build Si ps. I've also dealt with Nordstrand .. great customer service !
5. I ran my Markbass Classic 300 (all valve) thru my BareFaced S12T till I got my GK 700RB-II .. S12 was made bi-amped esp for the GK as Alex suggested seeing as I really like the old GK 400RB (so no crossover to tweeter) .. absolutely 'spot on' for my kinda sound & easy loud enough. (MB Classic ran without tweeter btw & still sounded great) ... just my 2c .. so get a 2nd hand 700RB for about £300 ..... but there are probably quite a few other good options even at that price. cheers Si
6. Trades at all ? .... I've a few things up for sale ... always fancied the Fusion 550 (not that I need it lol)
7. I've put Big Singles in two jazz basses & even in my Dingwall ABZ5 ... no regrets.
8. As new Korg Sound On Sound multitrack recorder .. barely used & now want to upgrade to home recording setup so surplus ... £90 posted (paypal gift) will include micro card reader ... REDUCED £80 Can't post pics as I've reached my upload allowance but can send via email is you want .. here's some info http://www.soundonso...oundonsound.htm http://www.musicrada...d-263318/review SOLD
9. Not sure if you're sorted yet but I've a Temple Audio Bantam XC headphone amp with dedicated psu for sale .... http://www.templeaudio.net/bantamxc.html
10. Put schaller strap lock on & tested ... doh ! A little bit of neck dive .. not loads but hadn't thought of that initially. Light weight tuner upgrade was on the list but can't keep throwing money at this. As to postage ... I don't have a hard case so would prob have to take neck off & try find a box to fit both parts.
11. I agree ! GK400RB changed my view as well ... I've paired my BF S12T with GK 700RB-II (bi-amped so cab has no crossover) .. what a sound ! Such a pity it's also collecting dust as I'm no longer in a band ... keeping just in case I find / join / start something new but no luck so far.
12. bass back from luthier & sounding great ! See original post for update.

14. I did it on this jazz for a 'road worn' effect .... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/186662-fs-frankenjazz-with-nordstrand-big-singles-l250-pickup/page__fromsearch__1
15. I've had Nordstand Big Singles (sort of soapbar) put in 3 of my basses ... two of em are jazz basses (still single coils) .... no regrets at all tho I'm no expert or pro but have tried different pickup types active & humbuckers etc & always come back to single coils. just my 2c
16. Though heavy it balances just fine .. never had an issue of neck dive etc (do recommend a broad padded strap) ... not keen on shipping this really, for starters I only have a gig bag so not much protection. I could buy a hard case just for this purpose .. buyer would have to arrange/pay for shipping. Would prefer the potential buyer to come try out first to make sure they like the bass .. althought it's really lovely & sounds great the weight might be an issue ... so not a total 'no' on intl.shipping but like I said it would have to possibly be arranged & certainly covered (shipping & insurance) by buyer .... Simon
17. back up for sale ... sad to see this go but can't be too sentimental ... this beauty needs using (and not as an ornament)
18. Stained then shellac based sanding sealer then finished with about 4-5 thin coats of Tru-oil which hardens .. have a read of this, http://www.lmii.com/carttwo/truoil.htm
